The salt Cathedral is a good place to visit. It's a group bus tour starting from Bogota. The driver and the guide was polite. The guide was able to communicate well in English. Had a good time in the Cathedral, Zipaquira city centre and had good Columbian food in the restaurant(own expense). Also tasted Columbian coffee(included in the tour). Booked this tour only a day before my trip but the response was good.

It's quite a drive to get up to the Salt Cathedrat, so it was really nice to have an ad transport option available. The day was a little bit more than we expected, however, and the lunch stop was much longer than we expected, but it was still a beautiful one and a great day.
Not what was advertised or expected. The day took 12 hours not 8 and there was no free time. The description sounded like you could buy lunch during your free time but we were taken to an overpriced touristy restaurant. The salt cathedral itself is OK but mostly just sculptures of crosses with lots of shops trying to sell you stuff. Our guide was great but I felt uncomfortable being th only English speaker in a group of 16.

While we are glad to hear that our guide did a great job, we are truly sorry that the rest of the day didn't match your expectations. We want to be completely open with you: city traffic is unfortunately something beyond our control, and that day it really impacted the total duration of the tour. Regarding the restaurant, we drop by there for group logistics to optimize time, but you are absolutely right that it is always an open choice and no one is forced to eat there; additionally, average prices in that specific tourist area are usually within that same range. As for the language, group dynamics vary from day to day; even though we always provide bilingual guidance, we completely understand that being the only English speaker can feel a bit uncomfortable, and we are taking your feedback to heart. Tourism always comes with its challenges, but we truly hope you can still look back at the good parts of your trip. Colombia is a beautiful country with so much to offer, and we would love for you to give us another chance in the future to experience more tours together and show you a much smoother side of it. Excellent tour with the City Bus company. Nestor guide and driver very friendly and explaining. Tourists enjoy punctual services, with structure and with nice people accompanying you. If one of these elements is missing, it is not worth it. But City Bus offered the best. Congratulations!
