From Florence: Tuscany Wine Country Day Trip with Vineyard Lunch

Description
See the best of Tuscany in one full day with round-trip transport from Florence, an expert English-speaking guide, and time in three of the region's most iconic destinations. Walk the medieval streets of Siena and stand in Piazza del Campo, home of the famous Palio horse race, then continue to a family-run Chianti winery for a guided cellar tour and a curated tasting of six wines paired with artisanal olive oil. A traditional three-course Tuscan lunch with cheeses, cured meats, Lasagne al Tartufo, and ribollita follows, before you finish in San Gimignano, the UNESCO-listed hilltop town known as Medieval Manhattan. Pick the version of the day that fits you best: a full-day group tour with Siena, the winery lunch, and San Gimignano. Or, a half-day group tour focused on Chianti wineries and lunch.

Itinerary
Meet your tour leader in central Florence at the meeting point listed on your booking voucher. After a quick check-in, board your air-conditioned coach and settle in for a scenic ride into Tuscany's countryside.
Roll into Siena, the medieval city famous for its biannual Palio horse race held in Piazza del Campo. Your guide leads a walking tour of the central square and points out the world's oldest bank, then you'll have free time to wander or visit the cathedral on your own. (Siena is not included with the half-day options.)
Continue by coach into the heart of Chianti to a family-run estate. Tour the vineyard, then sit down for a curated tasting of wines and a three-course feast.
Travel onward to San Gimignano, the UNESCO-listed hilltop town nicknamed Medieval Manhattan for its iconic stone tower skyline. You'll have free time inside the city walls to wander cobbled lanes, browse boutiques, or pick up a gelato. (San Gimignano is not included with the half-day options.)
Relax on the scenic ride back to Florence, arriving at the same central drop-off point listed on your voucher. Use this time to ask your guide for restaurant recommendations or simply unwind after a full day of Tuscan flavors and views.

I had a fantastic time on this wine tour and would highly recommend it. It was excellent value for money, with plenty of opportunities to taste a great selection of wines while learning more about the local wineries and the region. A special thank you to my tour guide, Viktoria, who was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the day, making sure everyone felt welcome and had a great experience. Overall, it was a well-organised, fun, and relaxed day out, and one of the highlights of my trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Guide was great. Winery was good and the transportation was excellent!
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! We loved exploring Siena, visiting a beautiful winery in the Tuscan countryside, and wandering through the charming streets of San Gimignano. Our driver, Cherio, got us everywhere safely and comfortably, and our tour guide, Fredricka, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience so enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend!
Shrine was a great tour guide and was super helpful and amazing. The scenery was beautiful, the wine and food delicious, and worth it!
Make sure to show up with much room in your stomach because you'll really get a taste of tuscany with this tour ! Lori was a great guide and she explained clearly so we knew what to expect.
Hi, my tour was great and my tour guide was even better, Shirin did an awesome job and was very friendly. Also shout out the bus driver for taking us around Tuscany.
We did the 9 hour tour in Siena, Chianti Winery (Poggio Ai Laghi) and San Gimignano. It was such an amazing tour and our tour guide Shirin was super friendly and such a great addition. Would highly recommend. Special thank you to our coach bus driver for taking us as well!!!
Very nice tour with Lori + Massimo driving us. We would have preferred spending a bit more time in Siena and San Gimignano (all together it was 2hr both places but 20-20 mins walking to and from the city centre to the bus). However since it was a wine tasting experience in the first place, not a sightseeing trip, we did not find it a problem at all. Highly recommend booking this tour!
Today’s experience was Wonderful! Laurie was a great tour guide and was full of energy even though we were all hot and tired. I would definitely try another tour with you again.
Lorenzo was a great host, he had a great sense of humour and many recommendations for other things to see and do in Florence as well as Rome. He took the time to get to know everyone and made us all feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you Lorenzo for the experience.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear Lorenzo's humor, local recommendations, and welcoming personality made your day in Tuscany even more enjoyable. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to see you again on another Tour Guy experience!
