Aaron was a great guide. The hike was not too hard and was really pretty. He pointed out great photo-ops and was very personable and knowledgeable. I really appreciated him pointing out the forageable plants that can be found and taste along the trail. The sights were beautiful and he was very encouraging and helpful when doing the cliff jump. I almost chickened out but I'm glad I didn't. Wear good running shoes. The terrain is uneven and Algor Seco will cut your feet if you wear flimsy sandals. Aaron also recommended a great secret beach which really enhanced our beach time and he made the day an absolute 10/10.
Highly recommend this trip who likes a bit of adventure. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful at every step.
Arthur was amazing. I am not the adventurous type and he made me and my husband feel comfortable and he was patient with us. We had a small group and he catered to all of us. He was very informative about the caves and helped us capture amazing pictures! This tour was breathtaking!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience on this tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Eduardo. He is without a doubt one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Eduardo is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting insights throughout the tour, making every stop more meaningful and engaging. What truly set him apart, though, was his patience and genuine enthusiasm—he never rushed anyone and made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying the experience. One thing I especially appreciated was his willingness to take amazing photos for me. He really went the extra mile to make sure I had beautiful memories captured, which made the experience even more special. Despite being young, Eduardo is exceptionally professional, passionate, and dedicated to what he does. His energy and positive attitude made the entire tour unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone—and if you get Eduardo as your guide, you’re truly in the best hands!
As a solo traveller I felt an excursion would be a great way to explore, meet new people and feel safe along the way. Eduardo was an excellent guide who was very approachable and reassuring ; he threw in a few laughs here and there too! Feel like I really saw the Algarve. 10/10
If you're visiting the Algarve, this tour is a must. Experiencing Benagil and Marina Beach with their breathtaking sunset and late-afternoon colors was amazing. Arthur is an excellent guide who knows a lot about the rock formations and the history of the area. He answered all of my questions. It was beautiful to see the old shell formations, like fossils, on the rocks. I had enough time to relax and take pictures at Marina Beach and Algar Seco. Arthur made us feel safe and enhanced our tourist experience by offering a very informative yet relaxing tour. The vast sea is something I will remember for a long time. Thank you, Arthur, for showing me such beautiful colors!
A beautiful hike worthwhile. Aaron, our guide, was great and very friendly! He gave several very interesting explanations about the fauna and flora throughout the activity and made sure to integrate everyone into the group by talking with each person. And not to mention his photography skills, which are up to the task!
After they refused to take us, we actually were thankful. We used Uber to get to benagil caves and got kayak tours (there is a boat option also) straight away. We then uber'd to a great lunch place. Then Uber to Lagos caves. After walking the trails at lagos. We got a boat tour at Lagos just past the lighthouse that was so amazing! All of this was so much more spectacular that this tour description (and cheaper). We were on our own schedule, saw so much more, and likely had better food. I can write this review because this tour refused to refund even a %. We indeed missed one line of their fine print- our daughter was a few months from the age requirement.
We had a great day with our guide Aaron , walking along the 7 suspended valley trails and visiting Benagil cave area.
This was a great tour with combination of hiking the scenic trail and cliff diving into the crystal clear seawater. The amount of time spent in each sections was just right. Aron, the guide, was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English.
