We had Jhon for the aforementioned tour, and he was an excellent guide. What I liked most was that he looked for the quietest parts of the sites. Also, he told us interesting stories that really illuminated the places we were visiting. The lunch was delicious too. I would recommend Jhon and his company without reservations!
We had a great time with Ruben our tour guide. He provided a lot of information and we couldn‘t have wished for a better tour.
Everything was perfect! (Responsiveness, guide, driver, punctuality, meal). Don't hesitate!,
Excellent tour!!! Got to do everything leisurely without feeling too rushed and still kept good time. Arrived in Ollantaytambo by 3P and finished the full tour by 4:30P. Felipe was great! Alfredo, our driver, drove like a dream (unlike many locals 😅)! Pick up was fast and easy. You get to keep a small backpack inside the shuttle bus at each stop. I do suggest packing snacks because tour picks you up at 6:30a and you don’t eat until 1:30p. 😬 But buffet in Urumbamba was great! (Drinks not included.) Apu Ausangate took care of everything! As a solo female traveler, made friends from people all over the world who were in the same shuttle. 🥰 Great way to travel to Ollantaytambo and see Sacred Valley, unlike the others that may be rushed having to go to Pisac afterwards.
Apu Ausgante Trek was AMAZING. Originally they let me modify the trip to our specifications (we wanted to be picked up at the Cusco Airport, see the salt flats, and then be dropped off at our hotel in Ollaytambo) as a private experience for our family of four. And THEN I realized when we got to the Cusco airport that I had reserved the tour for the wrong day… and they were scheduled to pick us up the day after. I whats app called them in a panic, and they had a driver to us within 20 minutes. They completely bailed us out!! We were able to do everything essentially as planned with our two kids. I am incredibly grateful to them - in particular Julio who made the arrangements!!
My experience with Ruben was fantastic. He was caring, thoughtful and very supportive throughout the trip, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip! Highly recommend booking with Apu Ausangate Trek and having Ruben as a guide!
Very complete tour and the guide, Hipo, was very attentive and patient! I highly recommend.
It was an amazing experience! The tour felt a little short, but it was still absolutely worth it and very enjoyable. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, professional, and very attentive. Even though one couple in the group was frequently late, he managed everything well and made sure I arrived at my train on time, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a great experience! ¡Gracias! 🥰
Very thorough. Beautiful towns that are worth visiting. The food was excellent, very varied, and the guides were very attentive. They explain everything in detail.
John was an amazing guide. Knowledgeable good spirits he took his time after having done other tours with other guides. It made us appreciate John more The tour itself is really worth it in one day. You see so much and you get to learn a lot about the Incas.
