Depart in the morning by bus from the centre of Como. Enjoy the wonderful view of the Como Lake to the cosmopolitan town of St. Moritz.

Time at disposal for free time in St. Moritz. We suggest enjoying a stroll on the main street, some shopping or a sweets tasting in one of the delicious local pastries.
Board the world-famous Bernina Express, a unique panoramic train. Long day but overall amazing experience. First stop for coffee felt rushed (only had 5 min to eat given long line wait to pay/order and not allowed to eat in bus). Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Had more time than expected in st moritz- which was amazing as we ended up having 2h instead of 1 which made a big difference as we had proper time to enjoy delicious cheese fondue at Stefani’s (highly recommend) and shop for gifts. Train ride was magnificent - outstanding panoramic views and to see glaciers was breathtaking. We had another unexpected stop for 30min which wasn’t the best - nothing really to do other than grab a drink or gelato. That being said , highly recommend ! Just wish we had more time in St Moritz!!!!
Trip to St Moritz and Bernini Express experience excellent. However, 3 days before the trip, I changed the date to a day earlier. All confirmed. On day of trip (2 days after change) neither the driver of the first bus nor the guide who we joined later, had confirmation of my booking causing considerable angst to all concerned. Also we spent a wasted 90 minutes in Tirano in 35 degrees of heat waiting for three fellow travellers, who had done their own thing mid-trip, to re-join us.

This very special activity was one of the highlights of our stay in Como, Italy. Our host, Monica, was lovely and made the trip delightful. I wish we would have had another hour to spend in St. Moritz to take in the scenery. We felt a bit rushed for lunch but otherwise it was a wonderful experience!
They did not return us to Como but left us in the center of Milan. We had to take a train from Milan to Como and ended up arriving at our hotel more than 22:00h. Bad experience!

It was a great experience, truly very well done ! Pick up from Como was on time and centrally located. Bus driver did a fantastic job negotiating the switch backs in the bus. Monica was a fabulous tour guide giving us all the information on meeting points and times very clearly. Monica was amazing with her information and advising best spots to eat, photo opportunities and general information

All very good - collection from Como, joined up with the main bus and met Monica who was excellent all day. Few hours in St Moritz good but main attraction the Bernise express train. Very good day out
Wonderful ride on the Bernina Express with beautiful views. Made more magical by the fact it snowed in June! Monica the guide was lovely. The coach trip from Como took around 3 hours, which wasn’t a problem except for the lack of toilet stops. This made it extremely stressful for those of us who are older. Please take this into consideration in future. It somewhat spoiled a lovely day.
This trip is well worth doing. Early start from Como where we got a minibus transfer with 3 other wonderful people to the coach pick up point. The coach was very comfortable and our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The coach took us to St Moritz. The scenery en route St Moritz was just phenomenal and photos do not do it justice. Unfortunately, we found St Moritz a bit of a disappointment. It’s nowhere near as beautiful as Garda and Como and actually felt quite sterile. All of the shops (which are all designer) were closed as the season has not started. That said, I’ve no doubt it would be beautiful in winter. An hour is more than long enough in St Moritz. We then boarded the Bernina Express to Terano. More stunning scenery and photo opportunities. Although you can buy food and drink on the train we took our own. Best to sit on the right hand side of the train for scenery although it is gorgeous both sides. The train also has WiFi. We were advised to put our phones on airplane mode as Switzerland not part of roaming and very expensive. Once in Terano, we spent an hour before getting the coach back to Como. NB The train takes you one way and coach back) The trip is all about the scenery. It’s a long day but very worthwhile doing. The icing on the cake was meeting fabulous people.
