From Bled/Ljubljana: Triglav National Park & Soča Valley Tour
Description
Most day tours from Bled cover one or two stops. This route covers seven and does it in a small group of no more than 8 people, with a local expert guide who knows every story behind every place you visit. In a single day you'll walk behind a real waterfall at Peričnik, see the impossibly emerald springs of Zelenci, cross the border into Italy to visit the hidden glacier lake at Lake Predil, walk the gorge of the famous Soča River, stand on Slovenia's highest mountain pass at Vršič, and finish at the crystal-clear Lake Jasna near Kranjska Gora. The route runs through Triglav National Park and the Soča Valley, Slovenia's most spectacular landscapes, on roads that would be stressful to drive yourself. You sit back in an air-conditioned minivan while your guide handles the hairpin turns and fills the journey with stories of the Julian Alps. No big coach. No rushed stops. No generic commentary. Just eight travelers, one expert guide, and seven wonders of the Alps in a day.

If you are picked up from another location, away from our office, you might be picked up 20 min before the tour or up to 20 min after the tour starts, depending on the location we pick you up from.

I joined the seven alpine wonders tour on 7/7 with Milan. The tour was great, informative, and got to see many gorgeous mountains and lakes. The tour guide (Milan) was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend this tour.

We had Matija as our guide and he had shared we were his 5th tour! He was very knowledgeable and nice. Our time was filled with great activities outside of the itinerary while we were waiting for our tour mate. The sights of this tour is amazing. Highly recommend if you are travelling without a car to book this tour to see slovenia! We got pick up and drop off at our hotel door.

Really wonderful tour! The views were beautiful. I especially enjoyed being able to go behind the first waterfall. Our tour guide, Urska, was incredibly kind and personable. I loved her stories on the myths of each of the places that we went to!

Veronika was an absolutely fantastic guide!! You can tell she genuinely loves Slovenia and wants other people to fall in love with it too. She shared folklore, local history, little cultural traditions, music, wild strawberries she found in the forest, and somehow made every stop feel magical. She adapted the day to what our group wanted, never made us feel rushed, and somehow kept us laughing from 7:45 in the morning until we got back that evening. She has this joyful, fairy-like energy that’s completely infectious. I left not just feeling like I’d seen Slovenia, but like I’d gotten to know it a little better. The tour showed us amazing sights I never would have been able to see all in one day without the tour, plus had all the best historical/cultural background to make it even more special. The best organised day trip I have ever done! Veronika took 8 of us (7 women and my husband) to explore Triglav National Park & the Soča Valley and it felt more like a friends’ road trip than a tour. Veronika was absolutely fantastic; she kept the energy high throughout the day, took us to some of the most beautiful spots, we had the opportunity to swim in beautiful lakes and the whole day was done at a lovely pace, with it tailored to what we wanted to do. Veronika was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic driver - I’m normally a nervous passenger but I felt incredibly safe with Veronika navigating the mountain roads. I had an absolutely amazing time on the 7 Alpine Wonders tour! It was without a doubt one of the highlights of my trip to Slovenia. The scenery was breathtaking at every stop, and the itinerary was perfectly planned, giving us enough time to truly enjoy each location without feeling rushed. A huge thank you to our guide, Jerry, who was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, supportive, and helpful throughout the day. He shared fascinating insights about Slovenia and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and having a great experience. I have a fear of heights, and there were moments when I felt nervous, but Jerry patiently encouraged me every step of the way and helped me overcome my fears. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy experiences I would have otherwise missed. It was a fantastic experience through the Alps of Slovenia. It starts at (in my opinion) the most beautiful of the 7, the Pericnik Falls. Make sure you have a raincoat because you will get a little wet. The group was very nice and had a fantastic day with a great guide! I would recommend not going Rafting or Ziplining in Bovec, so you can take the time to have lunch in the town! I definitely recommend this trip! Especially if you are on a solo trip!!
