This tour is designed for small groups of up to 8 passengers, ensuring a personalized and immersive experience. For private tour, please select only 1 person when booking. The tour will be exclusively for you, no matter the group size (up to 8). We’ll pick you up from your accommodation and drop you off at the end of the day. This full-day excursion is dedicated to exploring Swiss nature, combining breathtaking landscapes and iconic Alpine scenery. We’ll visit: - St. Beatus Caves – to explore underground passages, waterfalls, and stalactites. (Self guided) - Grindelwald – stroll through a charming Alpine village and enjoy the mountain views. - Lauterbrunnen – to see dramatic cliffs and iconic waterfalls. - Traditional swiss village (if time allows)

Itinerary
Once all our guests are on board, we set off for a Swiss day filled with nature, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable moments
Our first stop takes us to Lake Lungern, where we pause at a panoramic viewpoint. From here, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the turquoise lake nestled among rolling hills and surrounded by majestic Alpine peaks — a perfect introduction to Switzerland’s natural beauty.
Next, we continue to the famous St. Beatus Caves, where we’ll spend about 1 to 1.5 hours exploring the impressive cave system with its stalactites, waterfalls, and underground passages. A truly fascinating glimpse into Switzerland’s natural wonders
After the caves, we head to the charming village of Grindelwald. We'll have time to enjoy a relaxing lunch, explore local shops, and stroll through the picturesque streets, taking in the stunning mountain scenery that surrounds this Alpine village
We visit the famous village of Lauterbrunnen, known for its stunning waterfalls. We'll explore the village and admire the dramatic cliffs and cascading waters that make this valley so iconic
If time allows, we'll also make an optional visit to a traditional swiss village
After an exciting day of adventure, we'll return to Basel and drop you off at your hotel, concluding our Swiss day of nature and exploration

If your accommodation is not listed in the pickup options, please contact us via message so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Beautiful lakes, caves, mountains. Nice to get away from city and experience the mountains. A bit of a drive but comfortable. Van says 8 people but 6 is realistic John was our guide and very nice although on the quiet side. Would have liked more information. Radio was a bit loud.

This was a great day to be able to leave Basel and see the beautiful scenery of the Swiss Alps. We visited two lakes snd the water colors were stunning. The trip to the caves was very extensive as well. I was not expecting it to be as in depth as it was. It was really interesting to see the formations within the cave. The visit to the Townes were very charming and we were able to view the numerous waterfalls and also fast running streams. Scenery was stunning. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and friendly. We only encountered rain at the very end of our trip.

Wonderful day out. The guide / driver is very caring and knowledgeable. Shares lots of interesting info along the journey. The villages, lakes, waterfalls and cave sceneries are breathtaking…. I was glad I brought a phone power bank. My phone battery went fast from all the photos I took so needed a complete recharge by mid day (even with new phone). Check the weather report also. Mountain weather can change fast so don’t get caught in the rain. Finally the caves are much cooler so you may appreciate having a jacket depending on the season. Hope those extra tips help you have an amazing day. Highly recommend this tour.

We were initially disappointed that our original tour was canceled the day before we were scheduled. The tour operator offered to replace the tour with a panoramic train tour. We accepted and had a great day. The tour guide, Petra, was knowledgeable and did a good job herding 10 adults from one location to another. The weather was hot but the train was air conditioned. The scenery was spectacular. Lucerne was charming and the ride to Interlaken was beautiful. We have had many tours in Europe and this one will be memorable.

The tour was wonderful. Beautiful scenery up to the mountains. John was very knowledgeable about each of the stops, our favorite were the Beatus Caves, especially the creek water running down as it reached the lake.

We went on a small group tour with 2 friends and another person out of Basel. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and drove us safely through a snowstorm! The St. Beatus Caves were amazing, Grindenwald was a charming town where we had lunch at a spot he recommended, and we finished in the village of Lauterbrotten, land of 74 waterfalls. Of course it's the end of winter and only one was flowing, but still amazing to see throughout the snow. We highly recommend the trip and our guide.
