Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.
Enjoy a guided tour in Montserrat and visit all the highlights of the monastery by the hand of your local tour guide. You will then enjoy some free time to a palate some traditional foods made by Montserrat monks or farmers, as well as soaking in this special place where nature, culture and spirituality meet.
If option selected. Oller del Mas is not a common winery – its superb ecological wines have earned plenty of awards in the recent years. In fact, one of its wines won the “Best Wine in Catalonia” award in 2018. But the cellar is not only special for its wines. You will take a stroll by the vineyards, learn how the wine is made, and discover all of its secrets. *We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.

- Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
- Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
- Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
- Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
- We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
- Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
- We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

We had an amazing time seeing Monserrat. Our guide, Alberto, was very knowledgeable and I learned so much about Catalan history. The wine was high quality and the tapas were authentic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.
Fantastic trip! The monastery in the mountain is beautiful, the church is spectacular, and the short hikes were breathtaking! The wine tasting at the end was a great bonus, and our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable

We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient way to experience Montserrat and a winery in a single day. Our tour guide was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and organized, which made the day run very smoothly. The only issue at the start was the meeting point. On TripAdvisor, it wasn’t immediately obvious that the meeting location is associated with Castle Experience Wine Tours. Making that company name more prominent would make it much easier to find. My only other criticism is that the time at Montserrat felt a bit rushed. We had a little less than an hour to explore on our own, and that also included time to grab lunch. I would have loved another 30–60 minutes to enjoy the monastery and surrounding area. The winery was excellent. It was upscale, beautiful, and offered a different experience from many of the other wineries we’ve visited in Spain. It was a great way to end the day. Overall, this is a fantastic tour if you’re short on time and want an abbreviated but enjoyable visit to Montserrat paired with a high-quality winery experience.

Delph was an exceptional tour leader! Her knowledge of both Monserrat and the wine (including the background of the vineyard) was vast and so helpful to thoroughly enjoy each destination. There were a few surprises thrown her way and she handled them excellently. We have taken a fair amount of tours over our travel years and I truly mean this when I say that Delph will be the gold standard that I compare all other tour guides. If you have the opportunity to take this tour - do it! It's wonderful, but if you can have Delph as your tour guide - run to do it!
