From Barcelona Excursion to Montserrat, Tarragona and Sitges

Description
This day trip from Barcelona offers a complete experience that combines nature, history and coastline. The day starts with the departure from Barcelona in a comfortable vehicle with a guide. The first stop is Tarragona, a city with a rich Roman legacy. There you will take a guided tour of the center and then free time for lunch or a bath. After enjoying history, the tour continues to Sitges, a charming coastal village known for its modernist architecture and bohemian atmosphere. There is a small visit and you have free time to walk around the old town, enjoy the beach or have a drink on the promenade. Finally, you arrive Montserrat, where you visit the famous monastery nestled in the mountain. The entrance to the Basilica of Santa Maria de Montserrat is included, where the venerated image of the Black Madonna is located. At the end, he returns to Barcelona with the feeling of having lived a varied and enriching day.

Tour should be advertised as Travel provided to three cities with a 5-7 English speaking segment while in the bus for each city. NO guided tour in either city. Tour guide walks you to a meeting point and tells you to be back to the location in 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours. No directions to any of the historical sites, only “this way to the beach.” The tour guide gave longer bus introductions to the cities in Spanish and when walking to our meeting points she spoke only in Spanish to the Spanish speaking tourists. Older bus initially used but it broke down and we had to wait an extra hour in Sitges for a new bus. One of the worst tours I have ever booked through Viator.
