As the sun begins its golden descent, our unforgettable sunset cruise sets sail from Amalfi, the historic heart of the coast and a former Maritime Republic, now one of Italy’s most captivating seaside villages. As we set sail, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Amalfi from the sea — a picture-perfect blend of whitewashed houses, ancient churches, and lemon-scented air rising from the cliffs. Soon after departure, we’ll approach one of the coast’s most enchanting natural wonders: the Natural Arch, also known as the “Lovers’ Arch.” According to a local legend, two young lovers once found refuge beneath this rock formation, their passion so strong that nature itself shaped the arch to shelter them forever. It’s said that sailing beneath the arch brings good fortune to those in love.
As we cruise along the coastline, the landscape becomes even more dramatic — terraced cliffs, vibrant bougainvillea, and hidden coves appear like secrets waiting to be discovered. Soon, we reach the charming seaside village of Conca dei Marini, perched delicately on a cliffside. From the boat, you'll spot the iconic white dome of the Church of San Pancrazio, standing proudly against the green mountains and blue sea. This stretch of coast is rich in history and beauty — you’ll glide past Saracen watchtowers, remnants of ancient defenses, and tiny fishermen’s homes clinging to the rocks. Conca is a place where time seems to slow down, where nature and history exist in perfect harmony — and from our boat, you’ll have the best seat in the house to soak it all in.
As we leave Conca dei Marini behind, the coastline reveals yet another hidden treasure — the "Fiordo di Furore", one of the Amalfi Coast’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders. From the boat, you’ll witness a narrow gorge carved by time, where a tiny beach lies nestled between towering cliffs, and a graceful stone bridge arches high above. This is Italy’s only fjord, and it's nothing short of cinematic. In fact, it's been the set of many films and love stories.
Continuing on, we reach the peaceful village of Praiano, where whitewashed houses cling to the cliffs and the majolica dome of San Gennaro Church glows in the sun. Nearby lies Cala della Gavitella, one of the few beaches on the Amalfi Coast that enjoys sun until sunset, with stunning turquoise waters and views of Capri. This is where we make our first swim and snorkeling stop — the perfect chance to dive into crystal-clear waters and fully enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean. You’ll also spot the historic Torre a Mare, a medieval watchtower now home to art exhibitions, standing proudly above the shoreline. Just beyond is the enchanting Marina di Praia, a small hidden cove framed by dramatic cliffs. Once a quiet fishing harbor, it now hosts beach clubs and seaside restaurants — a perfect snapshot of timeless coastal life.
As the sky turns to shades of pink and gold, the view opens up to the dazzling vertical village of Positano, perhaps the most iconic image of the Amalfi Coast. From the sea, it appears as a cascade of vibrant houses clinging to steep cliffs, framed by lush greenery and the endless blue of the Mediterranean. As we cruise closer, you'll spot the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its radiant ceramic dome, and the lively marina where pastel-colored boats float gently in the bay. Here, we'll pause for a few moments — the perfect opportunity to sip a glass of Prosecco and take a stunning photo from our boat with Positano as your backdrop. A memory worth framing.

Noemi and Alessandro provided an amazing evening for me and my bride of 50 years. Noemi was a perfect host and tour guide providing us with all kinds of interesting facts and history of the Amalfi Coast as we trolled comfortably along just off shore. There were 2 other couples also from the USA and we all shared in a great time of laughing while some were swimming off of Positano around the boat. As we were on our way back to Amalfi, all of a sudden our captain Alessandro yelled “Look, Look” and there was a huge school of dolphins all around our boat. It was unbelievable. Alessandro stopped the boat and continued slowly circling and circling so we all could pictures of the dolphins playing. It was an evening we’ll always remember!
Our guide Chiara was very great and we had a very enjoyable boat ride. Viewing the Amalfi Coast from up close was fantastic. Stopping for a short swim was a great way to cool off.
I was a little skeptical on what this trip would actually be like, thinking it was just another run if the mill tourist trap type outings. Yes, I know, I am a tourist and it is designed for tourists, but not in that snake oil salesman way. In fact, as we headed out, the views were so breathtaking that I started taking photos and told a couple of the others on our sunset cruise, “I feel like such a tourist.” They were all doing the same. After booking, I got an immediate confirmation and instructions on when and where to meet. Our guide arrived on time, checked us and the other guests in, completed forms and safety instructions, and took us to the boat. Already pleasantly surprised at how smoothly things were going, the boat was nice, even nicer than expected. Nothing fancy, but suited very well, clean and clutter-free, and comfortably sized for the nine guests and the crew of two. Our guide, Keira or Kyra, gave very good and informative descriptions of each stop along the way, while the captain, Vincente, adeptly manuevered the boat, even taking us into the fjord so that we could see the small beach within it. We stopped for about a 10-15 minute swim and a few of the ithers opted for snorkel masks. I did not, thinking that it would be hard to see any fish in that deep of water. Our guide, however, was prepared and threw a little fish food in the water and drew up some fish for them to see. Positano at sunset created a great backdrop for photos, and the guide took photos of each couple/group as we all took turns sitting on the front of the boat for photos and had drinks and snacks provided by the tour. After that, we headed back, stopping one more time for another photo op at golden hour, and then a celebratory toast with limoncello that was allegedly made from our guide’s lemon orchard. Overall, the trip lasted just over 2.5 hours, starting at 5:15p check-in, and ending just past 8:00p. On this trip there was a couple that had been married for 4 days (Congrats again to them!), a couple that has been married for 31 years and one of their friends, another couple that was clearly in love that gently held hands almost the entire trip, and me and my teen daughter. I can say that everyone aboard was glad they made the decision to take the cruise. Money well spent.
It was a great experience. We booked at the last minute because our other excursion was cancelled, and I’m so glad we did. Benedetta was genuine and kind and informative, the boat was great, and the views were amazing. We got to stop and swim off the side of the boat which was one of my favorite things. It was only 2.5 hours and we saw almost the whole coast. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful day with Noemi and Marco! The communication on what’s app was great and they were very flexible with schedule. They took us to a wonderful lunch spot, private swim area and a stop in amalfi. Noemi is so warm and easy to talk to we felt like we were traveling with our Italian cousins. We have been on many boat tours and this was one of the best!
Our hotel had been trying to sell us on a boat experience but it was very expensive. This was under $100 per person and an extremely good value for the money. We got to see the coastline and positano from the water. The crew were great and took our photos and refilled our drinks. Excellent overall. Would recommend
