Hop on or off at 5 stops around Franklin, TN that is convenient to 50 points of interest. The Franklin Hop is a hop-on, hop-off tour with live narration that takes you through the historic town’s most iconic sites. Hop-off to explore Carnton and other historic sites along the way. Enjoy popular eateries, unique shopping, downtown Franklin, and much more! Sights & Stops Included: DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN/VISITOR CENTER HISTORY & CULTURE CENTER THE FACTORY AT FRANKLIN CARNTON CARTER/LOTZ HOUSE Hop-on and off all day from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Wednesday - Saturday. Full Narrated Tour is 45 minutes long. The Franklin Hop comes back to stop #1 (Visitor Center) every hour on the hour. Last full tour departs from stop #1 (Visitor Center) at 4:00 pm. (Visitor Center- 400 Main St #130, Franklin, TN 37064) Wednesday-Saturday: 10am – 5pm Sunday -Tuesday: Not Available

The hop-on, hop-off tour was a great introduction to the Franklin area and its history. We rode the trolley the entire time and asked questions. The weather wasn't ideal, so we decided to drive to the plantation and go on our own. Not sure we would have visited the plantation or the battlefield without having learned so much about their meaning.
Informative and fun. We regularly enjoy the Trolley Tour, because so much information about Franklin is shared by Doug - we only remember 30% each time! Interesting Franklin facts by Doug; smooth, safe ride by Joe. Young and old enjoy the Trolley tour very much, and the option of getting off at a variety of different sights in Franklin, then being picked up an hour or so later is a wonderful benefit. Highly recommend!

Good historic tour. I recommend you get off the bus at some stops. I rode the circuit then hopped off on 2nd pass. Dress for the weather and comfy shoes.

Our tour was canceled the morning of due to a Pumpkin Fest. Why were we able to schedule this date if the fest was happening? We could have planned another event for this day.
Disappointed…We booked our trolley trip in early September. On the way to Franklin the day of (end of October) we were informed that our tour was cancelled due to a pumpkin festival happening and crowded conditions. Shouldn’t this day have been marked as a special day on the schedule or even closed for tours??. A day of our vacation was wasted on traveling to Franklin that could have been planned for something else. Disappointed.

Doug told us to enjoy the first stop. We got off to find the Cultural Center was closed. We wasted an hour waiting for the bus to come back only to watch it drive right past us. The stops are not marked anywhere. We walked back to visitors center (that was difficult to find) and got our car.
