Foodie Grand Tour in Los Cabos

We have been going to Cabo for over 20 years. We thought it would be fun to do a food tour with a local and it was truly a great experience. Gregor took us to some of his favorite places and certainly these are places that the standard tourist would not know about- off the standard tourist tours. The food was fantastic and the drinks were some of the best I have had. Not only did Gregor open our eyes to some excellent restaurants that we have never gone to, I feel that we can now call Gregor a friend. He introduced us to the owner of one of the restaurants and together we discussed various mezcals and the owner brought out samples to share which only added to the great food we experienced (the owner did not even charge us for the mescal shots)! You have not really completed your foodie experience in Cabo San Lucas until you have spent a few hours with Gregor on his CaboTaco tour.

The tour started in an easy to find location and we met Gregor our tour guide. Gregor is very knowledgeable about Cabo and the food scene in town. We went to a handful of small, non-touristy, places and had an excellent array of true Mexican cuisine.

We had a great time. We visited a variety of restaurants and enjoyed the diversity of each as well as the quality offerings. We even made reservations for one of the restaurants later in the week. Two of us in the group preferred ice cream to churros and our guide made that happen. We really enjoyed this tour and we have experienced another tour in Cabo and this one far exceeded the other one.

Gregor was a fantastic food guide for our family of 5 to experience some authentic local cuisine in Cabo San Lucas. We appreciate his knowledge on the town and the best food/drinks to order on our afternoon tour. We especially liked the seafood taco selections of the shrimp and sea bass. Definitely come hungry as each dish is packed with flavor. Some advice from our experiences, bring a mist fan/hat/or something to help cool off. We did our tour in May and some are outdoors so it can be quite hot for those not used to it.

Just what we wanted. To get off the beaten path, find some hidden gems, and try some new foods we normally wouldn’t try. Even our non seafood guy tried the fish tacos!

This is a great food tour of Cabo. We have done other Cabo food tours but this one stands out as the best by far! Our tour guide was very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions on what to do in Cabo during our stay. We visited several different restaurants and sampled an excellent dish at each stop. You will have a stellar list of places to eat by the end of the tour. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time on the Cabo food tour with Gregor. The food was delicious and Gregor was so personable and knowledgeable about the local cuisine. It was a lovely experience.

We had such a great time on the Foodie Grand Tour! It was the perfect mix of local flavor, culture, and fun. Our guide, Gregor was friendly and super knowledgeable, taking us to places we never would’ve found on our own. Every stop had something unique—from street tacos and mole to homemade churros—and everything was absolutely delicious. It was also a great way to see different neighborhoods and learn about the history behind the food. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves to eat and wants a more authentic taste of Cabo!

This was a 10/10 experience! This is great to do early in your trip so you can get great local recommendations for food. Everything we ate and drank were delicious and we also learned some history along the way.

Excellent. Met up with Gregor, he was an awesome tour guide and host. Shared a lot of wisdom and knowledge. Great guy. Would definitely do it again.
