This was a great tour. The food was delicious, it was in a part of town without tourists, and the guide had a ton of knowledge and fun facts about it modern Peru and its history. Would highly recommend!!
Our Lima Experience food tour was an unforgettable highlight of our vacation, largely thanks to our fantastic guides, Arturo and Bianca! Their enthusiasm was infectious, and they shared so much great history about Lima’s architecture, culture, and culinary heritage. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, but Arturo and Bianca truly went above and beyond to personalize the experience. I mentioned that I really wanted to try authentic chicha beer, and Arturo immediately went out of his way to navigate the bustling local market to find some for me. It was such a special, thoughtful touch that made my day. It felt like a genuinely local experience rather than a watered-down tourist trap. If you want great food, amazing company, and a deep dive into the heart of Lima, book this tour with Arturo and Bianca!
Arturo was very informative about culture and where the dishes came from. He was very watchful of our safety and comfort. Excellent spots and snacks
Arturo was our guide and he was excellent! He gave us not only information about the food we were eating, but also some history of the areas we were eating and Peru in general. The options were delicious and were always ready as soon as we got to each location. He made sure that we were safe and made sure that the group stuck together. I had a great time with Arturo!!
Arturo was amazing to say the least. He showed us many different amazing foods and taught us about them. I can’t say that I had a favorite food on the tour because everything was so good. Arturo made sure that we got good seats and were safe at all times. Overall incredible experience, I am so full from the amazing food.
Super fun and delicious! Our guide, Arturo, was very knowledgeable of the foods we ate and was very adamant about safety for ourselves and our belongings when walking through the market. Really recommend if you want to try try Peruvian food without the worry of what vendors are trustworthy to not make you sick!
We have gone on many food tours. THIS ONE WAS THE BEST!! Arturo was absolutely amazing!! First of all, it was like our private tour. There was only two of us. It was like we were hanging out with our friend who knew all of the very best places to go in the city. We are staying in Barranco and would have never chosen to come to the city center, but I’m so glad we did! We ate so much food!! Arturo loves his city and loves to share his knowledge. This was the perfect way to spend the day in beautiful Lima! Thanks again for everything Arturo.
Yoced was an incredible tour guide! He took us to spots that we would have simply walked right by, and although you may or may not like everything, you are taken to authentic Lima spots. Highly recommend this tour if you have a few hours to kill in Lima, as it’s been considered the culinary capital of the world.
A wonderful way to get a taste of the city! Arturo was our guide and he was an absolute delight! He was incredibly insightful, passionate, and brought such a warm energy to the tour. You get to try all sort of different dishes native to the country, along with getting some of the historical significance of the dish.
Yoced was the most amazing tour guide!!! He really cared about what he told us and made our experience unforgettable. Great sense of humor as well. Would 100% recommend.
