Description
This is a tour for groups of max 10 people I am a licensed guide, and I will be at your disposal throughout the approximately three-hour tour. Walking in the old town we enjoy visiting places, streets, monuments and listening to the history of the city. The visit starts from Piazza Santa Maria Novella, you walk through the streets of the historic center passing through the Officina Santa Maria Novella, the Baptistery, the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, reaching the Ponte Vecchio and then Piazza della Repubblica. Along the way I will tell you unusual and funny stories and legends, show you special details and discover Florence from a different point of view than usual. Where is the portrait of Cellini in Piazza della Signoria? Do you know the Piggy Rite? And Berta's curse? Why is bread made without salt in Tuscany? Bring your curiosity to discover these stories, a little good mood and we will have fun together for a few hours

Let's start the tour with some notes on the ancient history of Florence and its name
Let's visit the workshop, I'll tell you its story and we feel the fragrances of perfumes. We will discover two historical perfumes and their origins and end with a visit to the multimedia exhibition room
Palazzo Antinori is one of the most illustrious examples of Florentine Renaissance architecture. We will look at it from the outside and I will tell you about how certain typical products were sold...
I will tell you the history of the cathedral and point out some interesting details on the facade. We will stop for a few minutes to admire Brunelleschi's dome while I tell you some anecdotes
In the center of the Piazza del Duomo, we will discover how the dark porphyry columns at its entrance got there
Piazza della Signoria is an open-air museum, while we enjoy all the monuments and buildings, I will tell you about the power and loves of the Medici family
Ponte Vecchio and the Vasari Corridor are monuments of incredible beauty, saved from the bombings of the Second World War, they are one of the most fascinating places to take beautiful photos in Florence
Returning to the city center, we will pass by the Mercato della Paglia or as the Florentines say "del Porcellino" where I will tell you an ancient medieval legend
The oldest square in Florence, I will tell you its history from Roman times to the present day with its cafes and street artists. Our tour ends here... I hope you enjoyed it!

A very interesting sightseeing tour with the wonderful guide Elena. The timing was perfect on Elena's recommendation, from 5 to 8. If we went at noon, we would burn) Helena showed us the main attractions of Florence, plus interesting places for the locals - Europe's oldest pharmacy, an artisanal steakhouse and many different streets and places. All of this was endorsed by a large number of vivid stories involving famous Florentines. Highly recommended!

Boldly recommend the guide Elena. In her hoard are many entertaining stories about Florence and its people and history, life hacks on what is best to eat and where to go. My daughter and I were on three guided tours: walking around the city, as well as two museums. It was interesting and informative.

We didn't walk around Florence much, but the sights we saw left a vivid impression and we were lucky enough to take many colorful photos. Very much liked the Uffizi Museum, which we will definitely return to, as it is impossible to go around and see at one time. Thanks to guide Elena for her interesting historical stories, without her the museum tour would have been completely without talent!

Our guide Kitaeva Elena took us to very interesting places in Florence. Me and my daughter, grandson and his girlfriend - we were all very pleased, despite the difference in our interests. Elena structured the tour so that everyone learned something new and exciting. And that's despite the fact that we were exhausted by the long drive, running late because of the heavy traffic from Turin to Florence. Elena waited for us, and gave us a tour so that we were very pleased and even forgot about the difficulties in the journey.
