An amazing experience with Sam the messenger (chef) We had a hands on experience with great food and plentiful wine Highly recommend
Amazing! A ton of fun a great counter experience to historical sites gave us a chance to all be together learn something not just cooking but also about Life!
Excellent experience, would have paid this much for lunch! Sam was fantastic, the pasta was amazing and it was great to meet other people travelling around Italy. Also had heaps of wine ☺️
Highly recommend - a must do experience in Florence. Our chef was very knowledgeable and helpful. The wine flowed and the pasta at the end was delicious. The tiramisu was also one of the best I’ve ever had.
This was perfect. The chef, Rafa, was great. His knowledge and storytelling really pushed this experience to a whole new level. We were a group of 6, booked one day before. Everyone there were great, really nice and helpful. The place is really cute and tidy and clean. Everything was explained in such a fun and easy way. The wine was very good, and we had a lot of fun. One of the best experiences you can have, and learn something, and have fun, and meet new people!
Inexpensive way to spend some time learning the culture and a great meal at the end. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Informative and fun experience. Learned to make two types of pasta and tiramisu. Everyone was encouraged and assisted as needed. Food was then cooked and served with participants only eating what they made.
This ws. Great early evening activity. Our instructor was entertaining and helpful. Had some great family stories. And our food tasted great. He had a good way of ensuring that the pasta you made was the serving that you got back so don’t worry about intermingling pasta. Tiramisu was delicious.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! SAM (our chef & instructor) was fantastic!!! She was hilarious too. The Food was beyond delicious. She taught us so much and truly helped us make phenomenal pasta. This is the BEST tiramisu I have EVER had. Everyone needs to do this class when visiting Florence. This is the best cooking class I have ever been to. They were so gracious and welcoming.
We did the pasta and tiramisu making class with Sam. She was great! She’s a local from Pisa now residing in Florence, and spoke fluent English. She had a great sense of humor and kept the class lively. Our class was for 5pm but a couple was running late, and with everyone in the class’s permission, we began around 5:30pm. We had such a relaxed and fun time that we ended around 9pm! We made pappardelle noodles and ravioli from scratch, with your party’s food being cooked together and not with everyone in the class which is nice and sanitary. The pasta and sauces were yummy and the wine was great! There were red and white decanters on the table that we filled as we pleased. Sam made the tiramisu with our help with whipping the ingredients. We learned some tips for rolling our pasta (Nonna style!) and how authentic tiramisu differs from commercial tiramisu most of us were used to. Overall, it was a fun class to experience local pasta.
