It was a wonderful excursion. Our guide did a great job of transferring us through centuries and finding ourselves walking through streets of Florence and then rooms of the Petti palace like we were part of that time. The tour felt light and yet informative. Highly recommend ❤️.
We ended up having a private tour with Carmen because we are the only people who signed up for the tour, lucky for us! She was very sweet and shared a lot of detail about the palace and even took care of getting us timed tickets to see the royal apartment while we were there. I would have loved to have had a guided tour of the gardens so we could learn more about how they were designed, built, and cared for. Maybe a future offering from Viator??
We had a wonderful tour of the Pitti Palace with an excellent tour guide who had a clear passion for art history. It was clear from the magnificent art collection why the Medici family was considered such great patrons of the arts. It would have been nice to learn more about the other families who lived in the Palace and to see their living quarters, but overall it was still a very nice and informative tour.
