Federica was very knowledgeable and a great guide.
We had a great tour with Aniko! She provided fascinating i formation and made the tour lively and fun. The architecture and artwork were stunning.
The tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Daniela C was exceptional. She explained so much history behind what we were seeing. Highly recommend her and this tour. She kept everyone engaged.
Great knowledgeable guide- Arnica. She was so engaging and made the tour that bit more interesting. Given the weather was so hot and it was a walking tour she did well.
Throughly worth the price for convenience and avoiding the HUGE lines for the academia and uffuzi museum. The lines on a weekday even at 7-8a was already past the building corners?! Plus you avoid the google ads for third party tickets which are a scam. Loved our tour Guide Angelo! He was a great conversationalist and plenty of sly jokes which we throughly enjoyed. My husband (not typically an art historian enthusiast) enjoy it and we had plenty of topics/things to look up after the tour to discuss the rest of day. Angelo was also helpful in telling us how to enjoy rest of day.
We enjoyed our day in Florence and were able to see a lot. It was helpful to skip the long lines at the Museums. We would have enjoyed more time to shop at the Leather Market, but we made do with the time we had. It would have been nice to see more at the museums instead of just focusing on a few pieces for a really long time. It kind of felt like an art history tour where the focus was on a few pieces. However, our tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable. We were able to book tickets to climb the Bell Tower after the tour. If you want to do that or the Duomo, you need to plan ahead and book tickets months in advance.
Annico (hope I spelled that right) was our amazing guide and did an awesome job walking us through the city’s main historical attractions. Even though it was seriously hot, she made an effort to walk us down shaded paths and kept us entertained with her jokes and funny stories about Florentine history and culture. Skip the line for the museums is definitely worth it and it was helpful knowing the context behind several art pieces as well as interesting to discover fun tidbits about how they were made. I like that the tour came with an audio set, that Annico was attentive in getting to know our names and where we were from, and that she made sure to keep us all together and follow the path of least resistance in crowded areas. Overall, a very knowledgeable and funny guide who provided a worthwhile tour for first timers in the city.
Really saddened to say the meeting point information wasn’t shared in the itinerary or general email and where they could have supported viator and the tour company didn’t.
Our tour guide, Brenda, was fabulous. She was passionate about art, her city, and her community. He learned a lot, saw even more. Be prepared to walk a lot, but worth it!
Great walking tour. Learned so much! Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. She had recommendations for some fabulous leather shops as well
