Duccio was our driver: He is definitely knowledgeable , Enthusiastic, Professional and Passionate. Duccio was early, safe, friendly and very reliable. He took care of us. Let us walk around and ask questions. He was a local who took his time and was very friendly. Great views and history. We saw from the outside the Galileo residence where he was exiled and his observatory where he worked; it was incredible to experience what he must have seen. We also were able to explore the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte as well as Piazzale Michelangelo, breath taking views. You could see the original ancient walls and architecture. Also went to the grounds of Medici Summer House which is now an international high school. Guide speaks multiple languages, Italian, American English, Spanish and some French and Latin. Duccio would drop us off and wait patiently for our return, never in a rush. We asked for a good local restaurant for lunch, and he even drop us off to a great traditional locale where the locals frequent. Food WAS GOOD and Priced well! We’d love to see them again! 5 stars!
