Itinerary
Our guided tour of Florence will begin in St. Lawrence Square. Are you prepared to know the main points of interest of the historic center of the capital of Tuscany? Come on!
We will walk to the majestic Medici Chapels, a real mausoleum of a family that commanded more than many kings. Among marble, sculptures and art geniuses, you will discover that not only people were buried here... legend was built!
And of course, there is no missing the crown jewel: the Duomo Square. Here you will be bowled over by the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and its famous Brunelleschi dome, which still leaves engineers scratching their heads today. In front of you, you will also see the elegant Giotto campanile (yes, the one with the best views!)
You will also see the elegant Giotto campanile (yes, the one with the best views!) with its famous Gates of Paradise, which do not take to the sky... but almost.
We will continue to the piazza della Repubblica, a meeting point full of history and centuries-old cafes where you could even cross the very inspiration of the Renaissance.
As it could not be missed, we planted in the monumental Piazza della Signoria, authentic open-air museum. Here you will meet the Palazzo Vecchio, seat of Florentine power and witness to intrigues, conspiracies... and some beheading. In addition, we will introduce you to Michelangelo's "other" David (the replica, yes... but just as photogenic).

I couldn't find my guide, ended up paying and joining another walking tour. I contacted Viator had an AI chat or who could only tell me the guide has a orange flag or umbrella. I asked the only orange flagged person and my name was not on their list of attendees.
To our disappointment there was no guide at the agreed time and place. We were there 10 min before the tour started. After 20 minutes on the line with customer service, they couldn’t get anyone on the line either. Unfortunately no tour which changed the walk through Florence. No access to main attractions etc.
We did it with Gabriele, excellent, knew a lot, we were impressed with all her knowledge, especially of the history of Florence and architectural features, especially the Duomo. Recommended 100%
Wonderful tour. Touched on important sites of Florence and a few off the beaten path. Our tour guide Glenda was amazing!
Our Anastacia guide is excellent! Highly recommended, knows tips and a lot of history, guided and helped us a lot. The walking tour is an excellent option, you do not tire.
