Description
Embark on an energetic journey to Western Thailand, venturing beyond typical tourist spots. Begin with a boat ride at Damnoen Saduak floating market, then take a train ride to witness the lively chaos at the Railway market. Observe coconut nectar production at a coconut sugar farm and learn about salt production at a salt farm. After lunch, hike to Erawan Waterfall, swim in its emerald green ponds, and explore the tropical rainforest. With its seven tiers, The seven-tiered waterfall offers a light and enjoyable hike. Conclude with a walk along the Death Railway and River Kwai Bridge, capturing beautiful sunset photos by the riverbank. For added comfort, travelers can choose between a standard vehicle or a luxury vehicle, ensuring a journey that suits their preferences. The standard option offers practicality, while the luxury choice provides enhanced comfort and amenities.

Itinerary
The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!
The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.
You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.
Roundtrip Transportation from Hotel to Market is total of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.
Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.
Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge over the River Kwai has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes. You will have a delicious lunch at a raft restaurant near the River Kwai Bridge.

Poppy is a gem! She communicated the night before to manage our expectations and we had so much fun today! She let us know which stalls were the most affordable at the railway market..we had coffee "Thong Muan” waiting on the train! The floating markets were cool to see and grab a snack. The journey to Erwan Waterfalls was long but absolutely beautiful. Poppy ensured we had what we needed and walked with me to fall 4! I was literally fighting for my life climbing the stairs. Very informative and interesting! I am not too crazy about the floating market, it it’s an interesting experience! It’s not very convenient to buy things because it is very crowded! But the other parts of the tour were great.
