straight line New we practically opened the new season on 9.4.26 and shot a one-hour tour through the city center: super great experience, joe think an ingenious coachman with a broad knowledge, which he humorously, elatedly and as proudly leipziger conveys! and the best (especially for me as a horse madman) is the e-coach! the feeling live as with hoof-rattling creatures in front but just without stress, without agony and neither starving nor overexerted!! just awesome! thank you dear Joe especially for the weather-technically flexible rescheduling of the date!

We were traveling with Wolfgang in the city center and in Gohlis. It was funny, entertaining and informative for Leipzigers as well. My tip, a jacket is in order, you don't believe how fresh it is on the road.

The electric carriage is quite unique, but Joe, the guide and driver, is even more impressive. His English is quite good, and his historical knowledge is very impressive across a period of nearly a millennium. After the tour, we were very comfortable with walking through the inner city area, and we learned quite a bit about the city and its evolution through the centuries. Joe also offers other tours of Leipzig, including a music tour, which we also took. We loved it! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a private tour with just her and I. It was great. The owner and his wife were with us and it was the most informative way to see Leipzig. Their knowledge of the Leipzig history was great and we will do this again. Great fun!!!

Everyone probably takes a city tour by bus at some point. But if you want to have a special experience very close to the city center (where no bus ever goes) and feel like the nobility of days gone by, you simply have to take the e-carriage. You sit like a count in the e-carriage, holding your glass of champagne in one hand and waving patronizingly with the other hand to the astonished people who flock to every stop, no matter how small. That's what I call "Noblesse oblige". On top of that, Joe the coachman gives you an introduction to "noble behavior", tells you lots of amusing anecdotes and tells you lots of interesting facts about Leipzig that you won't find in any travel guide. I can definitely recommend this e-carriage tour and will definitely do it again as soon as I'm in Leipzig again. Many thanks to the e-carriage team who made this experience possible. At this point, a big thank you again to Joe Laube. We were able to experience a wonderful tour on September 14th, 2023. ALL passengers were enthusiastic about the driver, the vehicle itself, the historical stories, the service... the "Henne" sparkling wine.
