Picked up from the hotel from a friendly guide. In Fayoum, we transferred to a 4 by 4 vehicle. The guide showed us the oases but she did not know much about the birds. We then went to the Wadi el Hitan, a paradise for those interested paleontology. Seeing the basilosaurus in the open air museum was amazing! The small museum was very good with real fossils and casts. Because of Ramadan, our guide was fasting and too tired to take us around on the trail. We went on our own and looked at the fossils ourselves. The lunch after was not very tasty. I ordered vegetarian and they took the chicken off and gave extra rice.
Top tour, which was supplemented with the extra on our part by the ruins in the area of north bank of the oasis.The time of pickup as well as the place are the day before (esim recommended for Egypt).Tour worked well and especially because of Wadi el hitan it is necessary to drive with a good 4x4 jeep.You are there in the middle of the desert and you need a reliable agency like this

Hotel reception arranged the trip by four wheel car and professional driver. The area is nature reserve. The views were marvelous. Natural lakes and waterfall. The magic lake has no water feeding source. High rocky mountains. Long drive in desert but amazing views.
