Itinerary
This is where we will finish the tour, after having tasting the local gastronomy and drinks.
Arco da Vila is the main entrance to the old city of Faro. It is considered a unique example of Arab architecture in Portugal.
In this part of the town, we will appreciate the architecture and have some more tastings, including some delicious Portuguese wine.
The Episcopal Palace of Faro is located in Largo da Sé, in the historic centre of Faro. It was built to serve as the official residence of the Bishop of the Algarve.
The interior of the Cathedral of Faro contains one of the most valuable artistic collections from the 17th and 18th centuries in the Algarve. In Largo da Sé, two other notable buildings deserve attention: the Paço Episcopal and the Seminário Episcopal de S. José.
The Arco do Repouso, which translates to 'Arch of Rest', has an intriguing backstory that dates back to medieval times.

Jorge was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He answered all of our questions and shared so much information about Portugal. Took us to 3 different restaurants and the food was incredible, so fresh and a good amount of portions. We highly recommend him and this tour.

I’m so glad we booked this tour! This was our first time in Portugal, and we had only one afternoon in Faro. Came with my family of four, including two teen boys. I wanted to make the most of it, and we did!!! The food was excellent, the drinks were delightful, and our tour guide, George was so knowledgeable!! We would have never been able to taste and see everything we saw without this tour!! Highly recommend!!

We had to reschedule when our Benagil Caves tour was canceled, but the team was very accommodating. They allowed us to start two hours earlier as a private tour and customized the route to make sure we visited the best stops within the time we had.
