Wonderful introduction to Barcelona. Knowledgeable guide (Mateo) engaged even our reluctant kids. Thanks!
This was a great way to start our time in Madrid. Egle was a great tour guide. She did an amazing job balancing the adults desire for an orientation to the city with recommendations and keeping our 8 year old entertained. I highly recommend starting your family trip with this tour.
Great time, thank you. We would recommend. Everything was very easy to reach. Very nice tour guide. !
Our family of 7 -3 teen/preteen girls, parents, and grandparents had the time of our life with Julio on the Madrid Family tour! He picked up on our level of curiosity and humor right away and engaged us all in the perfect combination of history & local lore. His energy and passion were contagious and even after 20 hours of travel without sleep we & the girls went from dragging a bit to hanging on to his every word. His English is excellent and encouraged the girls to expand their limited Spanish history and language. Julio is ‘a people person’ and knew instinctively how to connect with each one of us individually and as group as well as how to tailor the tour to our interests. All with humor and spunk! Lucky us - a perfect introduction to Madrid. Our time with Julio will be one of the best memories of our 9 days in Spain.!
Lots of interesting facts shared about the City, old and newer parts, different neighborhoods, famous writers (Cervantes), and the culture and pulse of the city. Our guide, Julio, was a lot of fun, providing great details along a very manageable walk. Well-worth taking this tour.
Eva was a great adult guide, but when we started the tour it was clear to me she had no idea this was supposed to be as kid friendly tour w games and scavenger hunts as advertised on the Viator site. We had to address this after about 30 minutes of completely lackluster guiding . She tried to pivot to a children’s museum that you had to buy tickets for well in advance. She tried to get the kids engaged but having no experience w kids it was a fail. I blame this on Viator and not Eva as she seemed to have no idea it was supposed to be interactive kid tour. Eva really tried. She is a fantastic guide for adults. If anyone signs up for the Viator kid friendly tour I advise you to get I. Touch w your guide ahead of time to ensure a truly kid friendly experience.
Knowledgeable friendly tour guide, full of anecdotes about the city. He takes you through all of the main attraction points and more: Places like the oldest restaurant in the world, the oldest espadrilles shoe maker in the world etc…. Book with confidence.
Julio César gave us a really wonderful tour. He is a ray of sunshine and is extremely generous and informative. He was awesome with our 8 and 9 year old kids. We’d take a tour with him again in a heartbeat. Highest recommendation possible, especially for families with children!
Our guide Julian was awesome. We were traveling with a 5y/o and a teenager and he managed to keep them interested and entertained. We learned a lot from him. Our three hour tour went by smoothly. We walked through Madrid from Paseo del Prado to Palacio Real. Learned some interesting history details and walked through areas filled with culture and lots of little facts and that we would not have otherwise learned. We would highly recommend this tour, specially with our guide Julian. Thanks you very much for all your attention!!
We did the tour with Julian, a very attentive person with a lot of knowledge about Madrid and culture in general. He made the tour very enjoyable and taught us and explained many curiosities. It is definitely 100% recommended. Very good guide and good tour of the city although you have visited it before.
