Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Rovaniemi to Korouoma Canyon - a spectacular 30-kilometer-long canyon known for its towering cliffs and mesmerizing waterfalls. Upon arrival, your expert guide will lead you on a shorter hike, perfect for families. Along the way, you’ll soak in the peaceful beauty of this natural reserve, with opportunities to spot local wildlife. The frozen waterfall, create a magical backdrop for a truly unique outdoor experience. After enjoying the wonders of Korouoma, we’ll head back to the car for a quick drive to the next adventure.
Our next stop takes us to the picturesque Auttiköngäs Nature Trail, where a short walk leads you to the charming wooden bridge where you can see magnificent Auttiköngäs waterfall. After exploring the waterfall, we’ll gather around an open fire for a BBQ lunch. Enjoy the food while your guide shares stories about the region and the wonders of Lapland. You’ll even learn how to build a fire using traditional methods! The excursion lasts around 6 hours, including transportation, hiking and lunchtime around the fire. In all our activities, our groups are limited to 8 people maximum. It is very important for us to provide you with the best experience possible, and avoid mass tourism. This way, your guide will know you better and will be able to address all your needs and answer your questions. As we usually say - the smaller the group, the bigger the experience!

We have therefore decided to no longer do city pickups. If you are staying in the city center, we would kindly ask you to come to our office (our address: Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi) and start the tour from there. You are not staying in the city center nor is your pickup location listed as an option? No problem! Please send us an email with your address and we take it from there.

It was a great experience. The landscape was beautiful. Our guide Vero was very friendly, patient, and helpful, especially in the slippery parts of the path. Just an observation: the description in your site is not accurate - no second waterfall and lunch was experienced. This is not a problem as the tour was great and, understandably, shorter in length as family-friendly tour, but the description of the tour needs correction. An excellent experience throughout.

The trip to the frozen waterfalls was completely worthy. The landscape was breathtaking and the guide, Guille, was kind, helpful, talkative and passionate about nature and travels, so we learned so many new things. I really recommend the trip, the tour company and the guide.
