Exploring Saigon by Scooter, Day or Night

What a wonderful way to see Ho Chi Minh at night! Felt safe on the bike and guides were knowledgeable. Would recommend!

My business partner and I went on a night foodie tour with Justin as our guide. He led us to various restaurants where we tried a wide array of delicious dishes! Make sure you come hungry because this tour is a culinary adventure not to be missed, especially for newcomers eager to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

We had a truly magical time on the foodie scooter tour. Our guides were Castle and Cane and we appreciated them so much. The food was delicious and well planned. They were great drivers. And they were incredibly fun to spend time with. I couldn't more highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our time in Saigon.

The tour was amazing! Rachel and Tim were very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, all the food was delicious! At the end, we did a little evening ride through the city and we felt also very safe on the motorcycle :) Cảm ơn Rachel and Tim!

The activity itself was amazing as we got to join the iconic motorcycle/scooter crowd of Saigon. More importantly, our guides and drivers kept us feeling safe so much so that my parents (aged 55 and 56) had a great time in spite of being vehemently anti-motorbike previously for safety reasons. The guides were informative and extremely friendly, trying their best to accommodate all our needs and plan changes.

This scooter tour of Ho Chi Minh at night is not to be missed ! Our brilliant guides Katherine, Castle, Ly and Queen gave us an outstanding experience in Ho Chi Minh, sharing with us their knowledge and love of their country and it’s heritage along with plenty of delicious Vietnamese cuisine on the way. What a beautiful way to see places and parts of this amazing city you would otherwise never see.

This tour will undoubtably be the highlight of our stay in Vietnam! We had the most amazing four hours with a wonderful team of tour guides- Katherine, Ly . Castle and Queen - they were full of warmth, energy, knowledge and a clear love of their country and culture. They were open and very genuine in their answers to our many questions. Being a passenger on the bike was a real treat - seeing the city from amongst the throng of traffic was an incredible experience. We could never have replicated this without the tour. The food was delicious and we know so much more about the history and heritage of the country and Hi Chi Minh City. Our lovely guides also spoke excellent English and we learnt some Vietnamese too! Thank you for an unforgettable time! A must do for all visitors!

You absolutely MUST do this tour! Worth the money. Option 2, 6:30pm 3-4hrs. Casa and Tong were two passionate guides from contrasting parts of the country who made our 1 night visit to Ho Chi Minh full of wonder, adventure around the city and sensational foodie experiences. Their English was of a high standard with clear communication and flow. Embodying both expertise and joyful humour, they told us very fascinating stories about the food and interweaving culture of each dish. They arrived early at our hotel and explained thoroughly our journey for the coming hours including: how to sit and ride safely on the back of their motorbike, and an overview of the districts we’d be visiting for our food and history stops. We felt safe with them on foot especially in District 10 around the flower market, in local areas, and also riding on the motorbike. This was a very nice feeling considering the dangerous and chaotic reputation for foreigners on the roads in HCMC. The food!! The food was exactly what we were looking for… a collection of local street food and famous dishes from vendors and restaurants that were safe to buy from (and wouldn’t make us sick). It was clear that it had been carefully selected and organised with a lot of thought and planning. The only thing to note was that It was a bit too much food for us. Towards the end, we asked them if they could order half of what we had been eating so as to not waste food and also to enable us to still try the food at the rest of the stops. In the end, we actually just visited the last 3 stops to see the food because we simply could not fit anymore into our bellys. Even without eating at the last few stops though it was still worth it!! We spent some great hours with Linda doing the wonderful Xychlo trip through the old Chinese area of Saigon. Wonderful stops at temples, a fantastic old coffee shop, the huge market and then a peaceful cycling back along the channel. Strong guys cycling us around. Exciting but felt safe throughout. Definitely to be recommended.

This was billed as a 4 hour evening scooter food tour, but ended up being so much richer than that. Our guides, Castle and Kim, were knowledgeable, warm and so much fun it felt like having dinner with friends. The food choices were incredible- so bountiful we couldn’t finish our meals, and they took us to vendors we never would have discovered on our own. In addition, they gave running commentary and insight on everyday life in HCMC, and we felt completely safe on their bikes despite the seeming chaos of the traffic. Could not have asked for more, and could not recommend more highly- if I could give more stars I would!!!
