Wonderful experience, everything was perfect: the support, easy communication, and our driver Mouhib was extraordinary, the best. We had a very pleasant time in his company; advice: visit the caves and meet the musicians, play with them, they are extraordinary! Not just to watch them!
He picked us up from our accommodation and took us around Tangier, including the main attractions outside the Grand Socco. This saved us both time and money, as Uber and Bolt are not available in Tangier, and the InDrive app can be unreliable. His local knowledge and transportation made the experience much more convenient and enjoyable.
Was quite disappointed in the tour. The tour guide just dropped us off at the places without telling us a thing. Never talked about anything we passed. We didn’t even know where we were when he dropped us off at the first location. I had to ask. Just told us to come back at a specific time. Camel ride was nice, but I didn’t realize we had to pay the person with the camel as well. He told us we had to give him money.
We sincerely appreciate your opinion, which will be taken as seriously as possible. We would also like to inform you that there is no need to make any additional payment to the camel guide, as this service is included in your tour package.
Mohamed was a very kind and sweet tour guide who clearly wanted us to have a good experience. English was a challenge at times since it was not his primary language. The tour company does try to match guests with their preferred language guide, but we were advised in advance that this is not always possible. While we believe the language barrier impacted some of the storytelling and overall experience, Mohamed still made sure we saw all of the major sites included on the tour. He also went out of his way to accommodate special requests, including a stop at a café we wanted to visit. Mohamed shared stories and local insights along the way and worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our time in Tangier. Although communication challenges affected the tour, we appreciated his kindness, effort, and willingness to make the experience enjoyable.
We are delighted to learn that they have enjoyed their journey. We appreciate your preference and look forward to seeing you on future occasions.
The driver was friendly but did not know much English. He also did not tell us about the stories; I thought it was a more touristy tour with more people. It was more than anything a driver for the three places.
Wow what an amazing tour. We used AI to help us identify the quality small group private tours in Tangier Morocco for my wife and me. Omar Tangier Tours was near the top of the list. Omar contacted us via Whats App shorty after we booked the tour to arrange logistics and provided a great driver Hafid and tour guide Ishmail. It is clear they love and are proud of their county. Hafid picked us up at the cruise terminal - we got off early and he was already waiting for us. He gave us a tour through Tangier and then to the Cap Spartel (where Atlantic meets the Med). We visited the Caves of Hercules and finally a camel ride on the beach. My wife had previously injured her knee and he made sure that we did not have to climb the stairs back up to the car after the ride. His commentary was great, he provided us with historical and cultural information without overwhelming us. He was aware of or final boarding time and returned us to ship with plenty of time to spare. Ishmail gave us a walking tour through Medina and also recommend a great Moroccan restaurant. Due to my wife's knee injury he made sure that we always went downhill with no steps to climb or descend. This tour exceeded our expectations and changed our perception of Morocco and the culture.
Driver spoke very little english with a van full of english speaking people. Was not necessarily a "tour". Driver drove us to several locations for us to get out and take pictures but did not give us any information about the areas. The camel ride was lots of fun! Gotta do that.
A nice and easy tour without all the filler and upgrades. We beach the ship crowds with the 9 am excursion. We still had plenty of time to explore the Medina and have lunch without rushing back to our ship. I would highly recommend this excursion if you value efficiency.
Not sure where to start with how disappointing this was. Communication was poor. Late the night prior to tour, guide contact us asking if we wanted to pay an extra 80 Euro for an extra 5 hours. Little late for us since we booked ferry weeks before. "Guide" Mouhib was useless. He was a 'driver only' and did no describing of anything we saw or passed. He didn't respond to my texts asking if we might start the trip early since we arrived early. Turns out he couldn't start early since there were other guests. But he could have at least replied. He didn't respond until I phoned him. Useless. Worse, as a driver, he tailgated a motorcyclist so badly on a windy road, the biker finally found a place to pull over and let our idiot driver pass. Then later on the same roads Mouhib was texting WHILE DRIVING! Only redeeming aspect of trip was the camel herder. He was actualy fun, offered to take pictures and had a great attitude. Overall, we'd have been better off taking the same trip with a decent cab driver who spoke English and had a good attitude. Worst outing I've ever booked through Trip Advisor.
Dear customer, We have sent you all relevant information via WhatsApp, including the pickup point, scheduled time and driver contact number. We understand your concern, however, we would like to clarify that the driver was unable to take your call at 5:00 a.m. because he was resting. The set time for the economic shared tour is at 9:00 a.m. and, unfortunately, it is not possible to change the pick-up time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on future occasions.
Ahmed was a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about Tangier. He took us to the Cape Spartel, Perdicaris Park, and to a beach to ride camels. Unfortunately the Hercules Caves were closed due to it being a holiday week, but we were able to visit for the view. I would highly recommend this tour!
