The 7:00 AM tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Chefchaouen. With most shops still closed until 10:00 AM, the streets were quiet and peaceful, giving us the perfect opportunity to explore and take photos without the usual crowds. Mohamed was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. He was patient with all our photo stops and shared fascinating information throughout the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.
The guide immediately wanted to change the time and have the tour with other people. But we paid for a private tour at 11 AM. Then he canceled on us. I did receive the refund. We had to figure out how to tour the city on our own. Not happy with the Guide or Tripadvisor.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. The booking was originally scheduled as a private tour, and I contacted you in advance to see if an earlier start time would be possible due to expected crowds and high temperatures later in the day. Unfortunately, after further communication, it became clear that I would not be able to provide the experience as originally planned, so I chose to cancel the tour and ensure that you received a full refund. I understand the inconvenience this caused to your travel plans and sincerely apologize. I appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve communication with future guests.
Thanks Mohammad, it was a great walking tour, informative and scenic and away from tourists and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend.
Mohammed is a wonderful guide. We really enjoyed our tour of Chefchaouen with him. We began the tour at 8 am, so the medina was very quiet which was nice for photography. He shared all the great photography spots with us, and provided interesting information about Chefchaouen and Morocco. We learned so many things and Mohammed was able to answer all of our questions!! A thought provoking and highly enjoyable tour; highly recommended!
Mohamed was a great guide and photographer to the most beautiful places in the city, avoiding crowds, showing us the points visited by the locals, as well as exchanging experiences and having a great chat! It was nice to make a friend in town! I recommend
Great guide including him providing really frank and honest answers to culturally sensitive questions. Really interesting away from tourist trap locations. Revealing incites to local living.
Had such an amazing time walking around Chefchaouen with Mohamed! It was so amazing I ended up buying a rug!
Unfortunately this tour was cancelled by the guide a day and a half prior to the date due to his AID celebrations .Surely he would have known prior to accepting the booking .It was then up to us to cancel and find someone else!!
Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify that the change was due to Eid, an important national and religious celebration in Morocco. The exact date is not known in advance and is only officially confirmed shortly before, based on the lunar calendar. As soon as the date was confirmed, I informed you immediately. This situation was beyond my control, and I did my best to communicate clearly and responsibly. I always strive to provide a great experience for my guests and appreciate understanding when cultural and local circumstances affect scheduling. Kind regards.
He met us at our riad and from start to finish he was very informative, plesant and patient with the many stops we took for pictures. It was market day so we wandered that as well. We very much enjoyed our tour and are happy to recommend him.
Mohamed shared his knowledge as a local and pointed out beautiful spots, so I could take nice pictures. He is a friendly and flexible guide. It was a great tour.
