Experience Knife Making in Blacksmith Village

Description
The instructors were born in the family with 3 generations making knives and scissors so they learned this trade since early age. They have been working hard every day to make the best knives and scissors. Despite the fact that this job is hard, they still have a great passion for it. And I am Mai - a craft lover who created and organized this workshop and will also perform as a facilitator + translator for English speaking guests. Look forward to hosting you! :) Other things to note: - Long sleeves and long pants are high recommended to avoid sparks. No dress please. - Timings are flexible so if there's another time you would prefer than what I have marked as available then message me and I will check my schedule and let you know if it is available. - Make sure you have check-in luggage to carry your knife home.

Hands down one of the best tour experiences and certainly the best one in Vietnam. Mai Thai has a great relationship with the village blacksmiths and they made me feel home while ensuring I had an authentic experience. I ended up making my first knife and it is an experience that was as unforgettable as it was unique.
