Itinerary
Begin your journey with a picturesque drive from Adelaide City through the stunning Adelaide Hills. This scenic route is dotted with rolling vineyards, lush greenery, and charming countryside views. Along the way, you'll pass through quaint villages and enjoy glimpses of South Australia's natural beauty, setting the tone for a day of exploration and indulgence. The drive to Hahndorf offers a tranquil escape from the city, making it a perfect start to your adventure.
Kick off your adventure in the historic village of Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Explore its charming streets, filled with unique boutiques, artisan shops, and delightful cafes. Savor the authentic atmosphere and perhaps enjoy a traditional German pastry.
Next, visit Beerenberg Farm, a haven for fresh, seasonal strawberries. Participate in strawberry picking (seasonal activity), with the entry fee included in your tour. Please note that strawberries picked are charged by weight at $12.50 per kilogram, payable directly at the farm. After picking, explore their farm shop offering a range of homemade jams, sauces, and condiments. Please Note : Strawberry picking is a seasonal activity controlled entirely by Beerenberg Farm, not our tour company. Factors such as rainfall, fruit ripeness, and daily visitor numbers dictate whether the patch is open. We cannot guarantee the patch will be open on any specific day as this is at the farm’s discretion on the morning of the visit.
A stop at Melba’s Chocolates in Woodside is always a delight. Set inside an old cheese factory, Melba’s has transformed the space into a charming working confectionery where you can see traditional chocolate- and lolly-making equipment in action. The experience is hands-on in the sense that you can wander through the different production areas, watch the chocolatiers at work, and of course, taste and shop your way through a huge range of handmade treats. From classic chocolate-coated honeycomb to nostalgic boiled sweets, there’s something to tempt every sweet tooth. It’s a favourite stop for families and visitors looking to take home a little taste of the Adelaide Hills.
The journey from Hahndorf to the Barossa Valley takes you through the heart of the Adelaide Hills, offering breathtaking views of rolling vineyards, dense forests, and charming farmlands. This scenic drive is not only a feast for the eyes but also a chance to spot local wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, and colorful bird species in their natural habitat. The ever-changing landscape, dotted with rustic cottages and pristine valleys, creates the perfect backdrop for a tranquil and memorable drive to South Australia's renowned wine region.
Upon reaching Barossa enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at Kies Family Wines, a family-owned gem in the Barossa Valley. Relish a gourmet meal at the Monkey Nut Café, offering vineyard views and local flavors. After lunch, indulge in a complimentary wine-tasting session at their historic ironstone cottage cellar door, where knowledgeable staff will guide you through a selection of premium wines.
Next sit back and relax the drive to Barossa Crown jewel and The Kingdom of Palms: Seppeltsfield: We journey toward the horizon where the iconic Avenue of Palms signals our arrival at Seppeltsfield—a destination that feels more like a private kingdom than a vineyard. Within the monumental Centennial Cellar, history is liquid. Explore: The jam factory Craft and design -10 minutes Vasse Virgin - 20 minutes Ocetine Cafe - 10 minutes
Beyond the vines, the estate is a vibrant Artisan Village. Breathe in the essential oils at Vasse Virgin, watch master artisans at the JamFactory, or grab a specialty brew at Octeine Cafe. It is a living cultural landmark where 170 years of history meet modern luxury.

Excellent service! Annil is fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable person.
Excellent and professional Tour Guide. A lovely day out, visiting Beerenberg Farm, Hahndorf, 2 x Wineries for tasting, 1 x Winery for a visit.
We spent a delightful day driving through beautiful countryside and visiting Hahndorf, Beerenberg Farm Shop and 3 wineries. We had a delicious lunch and two wine tastings. The driver and guide was friendly and helpful. He gave us just enough information without talking constantly. He was happy to answer any questions we had. We had plenty of time at each stop and it was clear what time we needed to be back and where the bus would be.
Very thankful for a well-paced day!
was a really great day, lunch was great, I really didn't like the last winery was kinda a anti climax to an awesome day. Also only got 2 wine tastings not 3, whole idea of going to the Barossa is to try wine...
An unforgettable day of wine tasting, food, and scenery that exceeded expectations and provided a true taste of the Barossa Valley!!! This is an ooh la la day of booze and get loose! Thanks to Annil , our guide ! I highly recommend him, his service to us is above and beyond. He is very accommodating and cool! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The trip was good. The Travel Guide Anil was excellent. The itinerary could have had more time in the Barossa Valley. The lunch was OK but was not Gourmet. The pick up booked was from Grand Chancellor Hotel at 9.00am. This did not happen. A message was received to go to Stamford Plaza by 8.40 am. They were not prepared to honour the previously offered pick up. This was disappointing.
Was a very relaxed day and Holly and Mike were great guides. The wine tasting was good, and the jam factory was an eye opener.
