Our tour guide, Henry, did a masterful job introducing us to Heidelberg. He kept everyone’s attention with his sense of humor and adventure.
Thanks Irene. Was a pleasure to meet you & your group & introduce to Heidelberg’s fascinating links with the Philipinnes & Your National hero, jose Rizal. With warm regards , Henry.
Perfect tour guide for a perfect German Old Town experience. Henry was great. He made us all comfortable and was immediately at ease with our kids as well. Super knowledgeable and had us on a great route to see this amazing city.
Thanks very much for your highly complimentary review. It was a pleasure to meet you all. Wishing you a safe return to Texas, USA. WITH BEST WISHES, HENRY.
Henry is great. From the beginning he was at ease and accommodating to all of us, including kids ages 10 & 12. He knows the history and route to make the most of the tour. We had a great time.
Hello Justin, Thanks a lot for taking the time to write a review. Much appreciated. Was fun to meet you all. MIT herzlichen Grüße, Henry.
My family had a wonderful tour of the old town and castle in Heidelberg. Our tour guide Henry was incredibly knowledgeable and kind enough to answer all of our questions from history to beer halls. He also interacted with our 4 children (ages 20, 19, 16, & 13) in areas ranging from their interests to helping them with speaking German. I believe most families would find this adventure enjoyable and Henry quite delightful.
Hi Scott, Thanks for your excellent review. It was also fun for me to meet you all & interact with your lovely kids. Wishing you all the best with the rest of your holiday. With warm wishes, Henry.
Henry and I had a great morning walking around Heidelberg. He is super knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. He showed me everything and we had great conversations along the way. I would definitely recommend him!
Thanks very much for your review - it was a pleasure to meet you too. With warm regards Henry.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Heidelberg walking tour with Henry. His engaging & relaxed style expertly introduced Heidelberg. Very enjoyable walking through the old town with Henry where the rich history to current was discussed. We recommend seeking out Henry as your guide to Heidelberg.
Hi Andrea, Thanks for your kind review - much appreciated. Wishing you and Jack all the best for your European adventure….. Warm wishes, Henry.
Henry was extremely knowledgeable about history of Heidelberg. We had family from 4 years to 69 years old, and paced the tour so everyone could easily enjoy the views and understand the importance of Heidelberg Castle. He made reservations for lunch at his favorite restaurant. The courtyard was lovely and food delicious! He included every person by asking questions and helping us relate to the German culture.
Hello Mary, Thanks alot for your warm-hearted review - much appreciated. It was indeed a pleasure to meet your group & hear about your own experiences of living in Germany all those years ago. Wishing you all a happy & interesting remainder of 2025. With best wishes, Henry.
We did (2) tours with Henry -- an afternoon tour of Speyer and then a private tour of Heidelberg including the castle. Both experiences were great - we learned a lot about the overall history of the area, and each town. Visiting Speyer Cathedral was enjoyable, and then walking the main street and discussing the town and area and how the single remaining tower was saved was very interesting. Walking Heidelberg was a lot of fun, taking the cog rail to the castle and then learning about the different royalty and how the castle grew and changed over time, seeing the worlds largest wine barrel, and enjoying the magnificent view from the parapets. Would recommend as an enjoyable educational experience.
Thanks Geoff - it was a pleasure to meet you all & show you around 2 beautiful places in Germany, 🌟🇩🇪🌎🌸🍀
Henry was very knowledgeable and he gave a great tour of Heidelberg. He tailored his tour to suit our interests, and gave us different tour options. One couple, not in our group, who overheard him talking to us, asked him a very specific questions—and he took a moment to help them, too. We couldn’t have been happier with our tour and tour guide! We whole-heartedly recommend Henry.
Hi Martha, Thanks very much for your warm & positive review. It was a pleasure to meet you both & spend time with people genuinely interested to know more about Heidelberg’s long & fascinating history. With warm regards, Henry.
If you are looking for a day trip to a quieter, less busy destination then I would definitely recommend Speyer. Our trip was fairly short notice and we lucked out finding Henry as our guide. He planned a relaxing tour of the city and lunch at a very good restaurant in the city center. He was knowledgeable about the city’s history and we toured a few nice spots. I would definitely recommend a trip with him!
