There is no pick up as stated. We were walked around areas of stone town which we had visited several times during our visit for 40 mins. The guide had little communication with us. We were then taken back to the food night market. We picked several meat, chicken and sea food skewers to eat. The guide would not pay for the food and said we should have burger or pizza. He then agreed to pay and then left shortly after. We were shocked to find out he did not pay for the food therefore we had to pay. We paid £54 for two for a 3 hour tour with local food. We only had around 40 mins with no food and drink. We were also left with an additional cost of £35. We are struggling to get our money back from anyone. The tour operator is ignoring our messages and viator is leaving it up to the tour operator to sort.
Didn’t understand whta you actually booked. The tour explains everything vividly about what to do on the way, all is about local tastes nothing else. No seafood included. How $54 can cover everything you need including TOURGUIDE? We are deeply sorry for that.
Good food and a very knowledgable guide!
Much appreciated
Mady gave us a lot of great information about history of the stone town and Zanzibar. Very detail. We walk through major sites. And pass through small alleys like a local. And Mady gave us good tips about the street night market, some may not very safe to eat. Other than no tropical fruit and grilled seafood. Everything for us to try was there. Many good local experiences.
Thank you for your support
The best part was food we tried at the market where usually only locals eat. Beef broth with chapati was the best. 2. I have never seen such huge avocados in my life. 3. I was surprised to learn some historical facts while walking along the narrow streets on Stone Town 4. Khomad is a fantastic guide - highly recommend
Always good. Stay safe and connected. Have a long beautiful life.
Mady is a punctual Tourguide, very knowledgeable not only about Zanzibar but the world history he took us discovering the old town then we went to non touristic places to explore the real local lifestyle and how people do in operating their daily bases. This actually was wonderful day under the umbrella of great tourguide. Everything is polepole and hakuna matata we love it.
As we absolutely know that, the good job and beautiful things need to be appreciated. Likewise, we would thoroughly like to say thank for your good expected results, what a nice review you gave us to help keeping moving on. Stay safe and turned. Have a great day. Asante sana.
