If you like authentic local small business operators, then Ethical Adventures is for you. From the moment Rob picked us up to the drop off we couldn't have asked for a better day. Being a local, Rob knows the secrets, he avoids the crowds and takes you to places off the beaten track that you didn't know you needed to see. The food was phenomenal; mango muffins, Anzac biscuits and the most amazing chicken salad ever! If we could give them 10 stars we would still be short changing them!
Adam a delightful guide so informative. It was an exceptional day, loved every minute, and well done hosts on delicious food
We had a really enjoyable day trip to Litchfield with Ethical Adventures. The arrangements from booking through to drop off were seamless with great communication throughout, which was appreciated. Our guide was knowledgeable, well organised and adapted the stops and timing based on the local conditions. eg at this time of the year (May) not all swimming spots had been cleared by authorities for swimming yet, so he ensured we were aware of exactly where we were going and which stops would be for viewing vs swimming. We experienced 2 absolutely beautiful swimming spots, both with multiple areas for swimming and with plenty of time at each spot. This was in addition to other stops at waterfalls (for viewing - beautiful with plenty of water flowing), termite mounds (really intriguing) and lunch at a wetlands full of bird life. The food was plentiful and really enjoyable (with special mention of the delicious home made muffins for morning tea). Note that some of the stops, in particular the swimming areas, may be difficult for those with mobility issues as some sections of the path can be steep and rocky. The rocks around the swimming areas can also be quite slippery (I'd suggest bringing some reef shoes). As an enhancement, it would have been great if the guide could have offered to take photos, particularly when swimming under the falls. Overall, a great experience for our first time visiting Litchfield.
A long day trip that went quickly due the sights seen and Carl’s fantastic commentary. The lunch was healthy and so tasty! Morning and afternoon tea were great too. Need to remind future customers to have breakfast before they join the tour too. An excellent day trip!
You will be amazed! Best day out we enjoyed it so much it’s inspired us to see more of this country in the NT. Carl our tour guide was outstanding, knowledgeable funny stories, well spoken and just made the day enjoyable.
Go Carl ! The fact that you were inspired is the absolute reason we started this company !!!! Sooooooo happy to hear that. Carl is a gem and we are lucky to have him ... as to we are grateful for guests such as yourself who choose to join us on our journey. Thanks for leaving the review and may your future visits be equally engaging. Warm Regards, Rob
This was the only guided tour we did while we were in Darwin last week. So pleased we did as our driver/guide, Carl was so knowledgeable from the moment he picked us up in the city. He also has a very good sense of humour. I will certainly be recommending your company. Lunch was very good as well.
Hi '915', To be the only tour you went on is an honor. We are pleased to hear that it and Carl delivered such a memorable day. Thank you for choosing us and for leaving a review. All the best, Rob
Really relaxed tour - still able to wander around and do it at our own pace yet still covered what we wanted to do. The guide was very friendly and open to conversation from the whole group and did a great job of providing background knowledge and answering questions. Definitely recommend.
Thx '862', A day in Litchfield and the region is always relaxing :) Glad you soaked that up and we look forward to looking after you again sometime. Cheers for now, Rob
Great trip and great tour guide
Hey Peter, Sometimes brevity is the way forward :) .... thank you for letting us and others know that you rated your experience with us so highly. Warm Regards, Rob
Adam, the driver and tour guide was exceptional. Nothing was a problem His knowledge of the area, history, people and seasonal changes was fantastic. Adam informed, entertained the whole bus. Adam shared history and knowledge of each of the places we visited down to a Cathedral Termite mound. He didn’t talk excessively just great shared knowledge. We loved every minute of the tour and will highly recommend this company & Adam to all our friends. Thanks for a wonderful day My wife additional comments below Also the food was fantastic and I can’t say enough about Adam , he’s the best for sure 👍!!
Hi 'A9', Thanks for leaving the review. It is always great to hear that our guides are loving what they do and our guests are as well.
