Our experience at Estancia Gaucho Day in Buenos Aires was truly memorable and exceeded expectations from start to finish. The entire process was seamless—reservations were simple, and transportation was punctual, comfortable, and very well organized both to and from our hotel, which made the day completely stress-free. A special highlight was our tour guide, Sofia who was exceptionally friendly and deeply knowledgeable about gaucho culture. Their passion and insight added so much depth to the experience, helping us truly appreciate the traditions and history behind everything we saw and did. At Hacienda Las Dueñas, we were warmly welcomed by a wonderful family who made us feel right at home. They generously shared traditional drinks, snacks, and a delicious meal, giving us an authentic taste of Argentine hospitality that felt both genuine and heartfelt. The entertainment was another standout moment—the group beautifully showcased gaucho traditions through music, song, and dance, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and culturally rich. Combined with the breathtaking natural beauty of the Pampas and an unforgettable horseback riding experience, the day felt perfectly balanced between relaxation and adventure. Considering the quality of the experience, the attention to detail, and the authenticity throughout, the tour offers excellent value and is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the true spirit of Argentina.
The Estancia was so Beautiful and the staff was so wonderful and attentive to all the details. We felt welcome by the owners. The food was amazing , the animals were adorable and well fed, the Gauchos were very talented and friendly.
A nice day trip outside of Buenos Aires. Our guide was Alejandra and driver was Max. We visited the small private farm and had a lot of animal encounters. Peacocks, chickens, horses, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and even a 3 month old donkey. Our 15 year old had a great time and full of smiles. We got to eat BBQ, feed sheep and ride horses and watched a dancing demonstration and we even got to dance too. If you want a relaxing time while in Buenos Aires, book this adventure. Probably wear old shoes bc they might get dirt on them by the time you leave.
Wonderful day. Lovely to get out to the countryside. Horse riding/carriage drive, music and dancing and horse management skills. Plentiful food and drink, empanadas, barbecue, desserts, wine or soft drinks and coffee. High praise too for our great guide Catalina who provided a running commentary about the gauchos, their history and way of life in three languages. Tip: Don’t eat much for breakfast. There is so much food.: Water on the minibus would have been welcome.
About 120km out of the city so travel time is considerable with the amount of traffic. The guides were very knowledgeable and showed us the historical side as well as the cultural which was appreciated. The estancia delightful with all of the animals being very relaxed and the hosts very hospitable. Food and wine were excellent. A very good tour. Do check with them regarding pick-up points as we had to walk a few kilometres to reach a point for pick-up. Still give a good rating as it was a great day out.
Horseback ride was short but fun, the food was plentiful but not very good. The traditional Argentinian dancing was enjoyable and the horse whisperer was fun to watch. Enjoyable to get out of the city but I’m not sure it was worth the price.
It’s a pleasant day spent in beautiful countryside. The lunch is OK and staff are friendly. Very laidback atmosphere, very relaxing. The horse ride is worth doing even for beginners. We enjoyed the day as a contrast to the city and our guide, Emilia, was outstanding.
This was the best organized Viator tour we have been on. The ranch horse riding, lunch and cultural dancing was wonderful. Our guide and driver were exceptional! One thing that needs to be corrected on the tour description is the requirement to bring passports. There is no reason to require passports and there is no situation where they would be needed or checked.
Carolina made this experience smooth and inclusive, fun! Well organized, with amazing food, educational and fun dancing and horse whispering
Great day out from BA. Beautiful estancia, great food and really knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend.
