Epic 3-Day Ha Giang Loop Adventure (Jeep, Motorbike or Car)

Great views and well organized

We were hesitant at first as we are in our 60’s as to what to expect. We thought that it was a tour for younger people however we were made very welcome and had a very good tour guide who was professional, communicative and knowledgeable about all the places and sights we visited. We are bikers back home in the UK. It decided to do a car tour in air conditioned comfort and it was a good choice choice given the temperature and humidity over the three days. We also decided to upgrade to 3 star hotels and the ones chosen for us were great, Silk River Ha Giang and the Ville H Mong in Dong Van. The hotels were comfortable and clean but breakfasts limited in choice but acceptable. All three days were packed full of fantastic scenery and stops along the way. Our tour guide Phu Nguyen made the trip for us as he was very patient and considerate, as we are a little older, top bloke.

It was an amazing experience for 3 days ! Our drivers were super nice and great drivers, I felt safe all along even when the road wasn’t great. They picked nice and quieter (less people) spots to stop and enjoy views with coffee which I really appreciated. Accommodations were both lovely, very clean rooms ! They both were not huge places with tons of bikes parked in front which was really nice. All meals that were included in the package were great(we were full all the time) ! It was easy to communicate on WhatsApp for before and after bus reservations too. The highlight was really our drivers Tan and Phuk, I cannot thank them enough to make our Ha Gian loop trip memorable ! Thank you very much !

This was one of the most special places I have ever visited - the views are spectacular, the nature is insanely beautiful and the people so warm and kind! A must-do tour in whichever way feels safest to you - we did by jeep and it was the best choice as we could enjoy the views and take pictures in a more relaxed and comfortable way. Thank you to Hieu who was the best driver and guide we could have had 😊 will definitely be back someday to show more people this beautiful part of the world!!

Highly recommend booking Ha Giang Loop Tour with Rocks Hostel! It was excellent from start to finish - drivers were 10/10 (while other groups were going extremely fast, ours weren’t and they stopped at incredible view points that were quieter than where the big groups were!). Accommodation was lovely on both nights and the food was really tasty! Highly recommend!!
