Visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and explore the tiny village of Şirince.Transportation from the Izmir airport or your hotel is provided by our airconditioned busses. Highlights today will be the library of Celsus,the temple of Artemis and fruit wine tasting in Şirince.

We starts our tour pick up service from any hotel you stay in Izmir. If you are booing your Ephesus with us and you stay in Kusadasi, it is first pick up location which is going to depart 07:30 am and continue to Selcuk where there will be meeting with other participants. After everyone comes together tour starts with the House of Virgin Mary. House of Virgin Mary is the place where Mary may have spent her last days. Indeed, she may have come in the area together with Saint John. This place was offically declared a shrine of the Roman Catholic Church in 1986, and since then it has become a popular place of pilgrimage. Pope Paul VI visited shrine in 1967. The visit to the House (church) takes about 45 minutes and after our visit; there will be a 5 min drive to Ephesus.
we will carry on with the visit to Temple of Artemis; which is one of the Seven Wonders of antiquity. Here, there will be good chance to shoot photos of Church of St. John and Mosque of Isa Bey from the best angle as well.
Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and early Christian periods. Ephesus is an important site for Christianity; being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. Apostle Paul probably spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey. In two hours, you will be exploring the city by walking on the marble streets, accompanied by our English speaking tour guide. In our tour, we will be seeing Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, and Latriens. The visits to Private House (so-called brothel, 'Terrace Houses’) is an optional visit for an extra 25 ₺/person and your guide should be informed before hand. After Terrace Houses, we will carry on with our exploration with Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather, and Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Sirince is an old village of ‘Rum’ (Byzantine Greeks) situated on the hills of Selcuk and 7 km from Ephesus. As part of the peace treaty after Turkish National War (1919-1922), a formal exchange of Turkish and Greeks, was agreed upon and Sirince is inhabited by Turkish now. The village is popular for beautiful traditional houses and fruit flavoured wine production; and you will have a free time for some wine tasting.

Great tour! We arrived at the House of Mother Mary at the perfect time and were able to avoid the large tour crowds. This gave me the opportunity to enjoy some meaningful spiritual moments. Our driver was friendly, and our tour guide, Ms. Huray, was both warm and highly knowledgeable. The lunch was excellent, and Ms. Huray took the time to sit with us and explain the dishes we were eating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable tour.

The guide was excellent for the information and kindness in the service. However, I do not like being taken to visit places for tourists to shop (carpet factory, business that makes cosmetics with olive oil). These activities are not included in the tour of the visit.

Wonderful experience.. of interested in history, highly recommended when in Turkiye. Well informed and amazingly trained tour guide. Realistic time management where you doesn't feel rushed at the time all points are covered in depth.

Mehmet was an incredible tour guide and made the experience truly memorable. He shared so many fascinating facts and interesting stories about each site that brought the history and culture to life. The worst thing about this tour company was their lack of communication, and, for that reason, I would not recommend using this company. I purchased this tour specifically because it said that we could purchase the option to see the terrace houses, and I'd messaged the company 3 times over three weeks preceding our tour date to inquire about it; no response at all. When I told the guide the morning of the tour that I wanted to add the terrace houses, she said it wasn't possible. It was only when I showed her my messages that she said she could give me 20 minutes to see the terrace houses at the expense of the library (the main structure to see). Sadly, that isn't where the disappointments ended. We spent over half the tour on pointless tourist attractions: first a carpet seller disguised as lunch and then a small town that specializes in the production of the most disgusting wine I've ever tasted. I do NOT recommend this tour. All of the other tour companies we used during our time in Greece and Turkey communicated with us (at least about the pickup time the night before), and this one rushed through the sites at Ephesus without adequate detail, explanation, or opportunities for photos. If they hadn't wasted half the day at the tourist buying sites, that would have been understandable. In this case, they need to drop the tourist town and spend adequate time at Ephesus.

Our experience was good not great. We did a private but want to customize some things that weren't allowed to do. We would have like to include the Ephesus Museum and spend additional free time there. We also would have included St. John Bacillica but that was not included nor could we add it.

Erşan, our guide, gave us an esoectacular guided tour. He explained everything in a very enjoyable way with many examples of linguistic and cultural connections. He proved to have a thorough knowledge of Turkish history and the Bible. Erdal drove the van very safely and calmly. I recommend both to take guided tours and travel quietly on Turkish roads.
