This is a location within the ancient city of Ephesus. Adjacent to the library of Celsus, this marvelous elite houses are very well preserved.

Considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, Ephesus’ Temple of Artemis was dedicated to the goddess of the hunt. Only the foundation and one column remain of this temple which once measured 425 feet long, 220 feet long.
It is both a Christian and Muslim legend. Seven young people, denying the Pagan ways and loyal to One God belief, escaped from Pagan King and sleep for a few centuries.
The Isabey Mosque, constructed in 1374 – 1375, is one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art remaining from the Anatolian Beyliks.
Come back to Izmir, and take off all guests to their hotel.

We spent the day with Ekim (and a driver with an immaculate Mercedes van) and explored Ephesus, the House of Mary, and the Temple of Artemis. Amazing. The historic and cultural significance of these sites is almost overwhelming but Ekim shared stories, facts, and anecdotes that made what we saw relatable and very memorable. We weren’t rushed. We had a hundred questions and he answered them all. We could take it all in and we ended the day truly inspired. Ekim is a professional. He’s courteous, friendly, very knowledgeable, and a great photographer too! Ask for Ekim to show you Ephesus!

We had a wonderful day touring with Erman Uslu. We have been lucky enough to have traveled widely and the good tour guides like Erman always stick out. He is very personable and his knowledge of all the places we visited was extensive. His deep touring experiences showed in everything we did. We were able to move at the pace that suited us best and could pause for detailed explanation where needed. His lunch location choice was excellent. We would highly recommend Erman for tours of any size in Turkey.

Cenk has been an excellent guide. Efeso is a wonder, definitely a place you should visit with a qualified guide who tells you a lot of historical data of the site. Highly recommended.

- The pick up was on time - The seats in minibus clean and comfortable - Erman (tourist guide) asked in every point for questions and additional doubts - Food was okkeysh - we had 2 stops in different shop: ceramic and local farmers one. They were not aggressive trying to sell their products whatever it takes. A good chance for local community to sponsor their economy and traditions. 5 stars , expectation exceeded. We also received advise on restaurants and food in Izmir.

We had a very pleasant visit today to the majestic site of Ephesus. The organization of the day was impeccable as well as transportation. Our Francophone guide Cenk knew the site extremely well and he answered all our questions. In addition, he was very friendly in addition to giving us some additional tips about our days ahead in Izmir.

10/10 Alperen made the excursion so wonderful. It was essentially like having an extension or our friend group hangout with us, but also with a wealth of knowledge. From the moment he picked us up, he emphasized that this was our day and we had control of the schedule of events. We were picked up in a nice private vehicle and throughout the drive there he informed us of the history of the country and tied it into the actual walk through of ephesus . The best guide we have ever had across all of our travels (and we travel a lot)
