They have timed entry, so plan accordingly. Even at that, it was pretty crowded. The collection is nice it's always a privilege to see paintings/art in person. Klimpt's work was worth the crowd, but I'd suggest the rest of the museum not be skipped

I visited both the Upper and Lower Belvedere, and the overall visit was absolutely top-notch. The Upper Belvedere, with its impressive art collection and the palace itself, is a real highlight. But the Lower Belvedere also completely convinced me; the exhibitions there are really well done. The entire complex with the garden in between is beautiful to behold. For me, it is an absolute recommendation in Vienna; this is something one should fully experience!

Gorgeous palace. Klimt wing is stunning. Other areas thoughtfully designed. Great info and insight on art pieces.

I didn’t realise this was only an art exhibition- bigger fool me for not checking however I really enjoyed it. Spent time walking around looking at the art with plenty of info available on each piece/about collection. Highlight for most is Klimt’s The Kiss, but you have to get past the people there posing for photos with it not actually looking at it!!!! The grounds were also a nice walk although not all of it has been looked after, we didn’t go to lower Belvedere so can’t comment. We’d missed lunch so decided to have a quick snack in the cafe, waitress was nice but service was slow as she seemed to be the only one taking orders. 2 soft drinks and 2 strudels €24 - way too much but as always with museum cafes…

Positive experience, everything very well organized. Well-maintained and clean structure, credible and courteous staff
Seeing The Kiss was a must-do activity for me while visiting Vienna. Booking through Viator made it a breeze to just show up and get whisked through.
There are many Klimt painting here - not just The Kiss. There is a Van Gogh and many other beautiful pieces of art. The ticket I bought got me right in.
Very nice museum with some amazing pieces. Beautiful grounds and excellent beer garden nearby to “reconnoiter” and rest the feet! Only negative were the number of pushy groups.
a beautiful palace with stunning paintings inside. Definitely worth a visit if you like Gustav Klimt.

Like getting three for one value - the art in the museum is great, the Belvedere palace architecture is stunning, and the museum gardens are wonderful. If you don't like art, the building itself is amazing; if you like art - don't miss this museum; if you don't like either, the grounds are so lovely to walk through. The art is a good mix of old and new, with the Gustave Klimpt paintings as the highlight. The tickets are time entry, and the museum wasn't overcrowded. Great views of Vienna from the museum.
