We are here for around a hour and half in La Bufadora and its local flea market, you can either continue shopping in Ensenada's downtown area or head back to the ship with the tour.
If you decide to stay in downtown, you will have to find your way back to the pier; taxis are readily available in the area and you can let the guide know on the day if you would like to make your own way back to the ship. Please bear in mind at times throughout the day you will be walking on uneven surfaces or steep landscapes. As a result, make sure you wear appropriate attire. The blowhole was amazing but finding the bus was a little difficult. I would still recommend the excursion. Costs half what the ship charges and goes to the same places.
We got off the boat and looked for the tour. No one came up to us and we searched all around. About twenty minutes after we should have left with Trip Advisor we signed up for another tour in a private car with someone standing there . Our tour was very satisfactory, I would not recommend to anyone to sign up with this company. I expect a full refund from them .
Did this tour with shore excursion group. Tour was well done dispute all the traffic and road construction in town. Only issue was the bus they used the air worked kind of. So it was pretty stuffy and hot.
The blowhole is interesting but the drive is quite a ways out of the city. Fortunately, our tour guide (Fernando) and our driver (Poncho) were very friendly and courteous. Fernando was very forthcoming with information about the area; he seemed a genuinely nice person. The city tour was done while on the bus and wasn't really that impressive. We spent time walking through the market area which was interesting.
