Canceled by guide

Our guide canceled the tour 10 mins before he was picking us up. He fell and hurt his ankle. I am waiting for confirmation that you are refunded me the cost of the trip.

A responsive and responsible guide - Taka

Responsible Guide - Taka Taka kept us updated before trip and was most courteous. The company mixed up the date of our trip and we were at the pickup point waiting on Monday morning only to receive a text from him about the mixed-up. He was apologetic and offered to do the trip the next day as there was no available vehicle that morning. Having no choice we accepted. We decided to get his help to recommend some places we could shop for the day and he was most prompt in his reply. As a result, we spent a day shopping at Diver City in Odaiba, free from the crowd in popular spots in Tokyo. The next day he was late but he informed us that it was the result of a flat tyre. We were delayed for almost an hour. But he gave us our 10 hours. In the end, I believed he had to reach home very late that day because he was not living in Tokyo. He listened to our request and adjusted the itinerary to suit our preference, giving us sufficient time for each place. We missed the shrine in the end but we understood the constraints. We had a good trip out of Tokyo and were able to view the beautiful foliage in Nikko. Experience was not given a 5 because of the mistake that was made and we had to wake up early for 2 consecutive mornings instead of one.

Ohayo Japan toura... .. Worst most unethical company ever !!

So this tour company is a big fraud. We were a family of 7 who booked them. We have had good experience with Viator agencies in the past. However this particular company was very bad. Yes with Viator we booked one tour fr Nikko with them. But they then contacted us directly so we could arrange a different drop location etc. In the process they offered Mt Fuji tour and confirmed that the additional coat for the Nagano drop off can be eliminated if we confirm an additional tour of fuji. Since their communication was very prompt and clear on emails, we believed them and went ahead as this was a good deal. However highlight is the guide by the name *TACHIBANA* FROM OHAYO NIPPON TOUR COMPANY who was with us for both these tours convincingly avoided key points to avoid travelling for himself. He managed to make us waste time in silly locations such as a village than take us to the Pagoda viewpoint or Hakone. Especially with limited light in winters we could hardly experience Fuji or Nikko Shrines well. Tachibana also continued with us to Nagano for the day trip to the Snow Mountains. Once again a disaster.... since this was his last trip with us probably he started showing true colours already. He was to take us to the Shiga Kogen mountains, but instead took us to a parking spot with snow and said this is the best as its very snowy today. He absolutely did not show us anything or any place in the snow region. That was also a big disaster, my family and our young girls were so no happy. It is not fair as we paid them whatever they charged and to be given poor service then you rather not be in this profession. Thereafter, we also asked them if they could pick us up at Nagoya Station where we arrived by train from Nagano. Van was to be with us till Kyoto drop. We had some bags with us and wanted a big van to dump our suitcases and then visit the Nabana No Sato Illumination and then go to Kyoto. While Tachibana left us he assured that his uncle Takahashi as they called themselves will be coming for us. We waited for 1 hr at the station and kept calling frantically to only understand that they kept lying and decided to cancel on us. Of course payment was to be made at the service time. But after 1 hr and waiting in a station with no free lockers, we were stuck and had to cancel a trip we so much were looking forward to. And had to leave to Kyoto directly. This was too disappointing and absolutely not fair. Hence I call them frauds. It's a pity that they claimed they came from a half Indian family. As an Indian I am ashamed that they disgust us with this kind of unethical unprofessional behaviour leaving your clients stranded at the station. I am sharing g the number and names and email ID of this company here, so that if you even get them as your agents you must cancel. They are not professional at all. Great tour

Taka is a great tour guide. His English is very good, he gave us information about the attractions we are seeing. He’s flexible with our schedule and let us choose what we want to see first. He even help us to call and make reservations with the restaurant for dinner. He’s knowledgeable about the various sites and attractions. I would highly recommend him and this tour to anyone.

Excellent Tour

Taka is an outstanding tour guide and a kind and wonderful person. His English is perfect and he is very knowledgeable and shared with us a lot of interesting information. He is also a good photographer. The tour was not rushed and he was patient and flexible with our schedule. He went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be. He also made for us a restaurant reservation and took a few of us there after the tour ended on his own time. This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. We had a fantastic day! I highly recommend anyone to take a tour with Taka.
