The dinner and show was fantastic. If you want to see authentic tango with no rush this is the show . Great customer service ! Will come again
The evening was awesome. I paid for transport and got picked up right at my apartment complex. Dinner was great, right across the road from the show. A whole bottle of wine was included. My waiter was so nice. He carried over my undrunk wine to the table at the show. Our names were at our tables. The show was marvelous.
We chose the package that included dinner and show. Both were wonderful. The food was excellent and the service too. The tango shows was also excellent, great dancers and singers.
Everything was perfect; technique, creativity, music...
Excellent food at the restaurant, the attention A+. The show well choreographed and with awesome variety
Dinner was excellent and good quality. We enjoyed thoroughly the drinks and three course dinner. Food was prepared excellently and more than we can eat. Show was good but room was very small so it obstructed our view. In 2023 we saw another Tango Show which was better as far as I remember and the hall was huge and stage was lot higher so it did not obstruct anybody's view. The dance quality was better and the whole show told us a story which was missing here.
Very bad service and performance. Slight discrimination on seat arrangement. Very bad service to ask tips. Bad experience.
Attending a tango show in Buenos Aires was an unforgettable highlight of our honeymoon - and even more special as it fell on my birthday. We chose the full experience at El Viejo Almacen, which included dinner before the show, champagne during the performance and pick-up and drop-off from our Airbnb. From the moment the performance began, the atmosphere was electric. The dancers were mesmerising - precise, powerful and deeply expressive. Their connection and intensity were captivating, telling stories through every movement. The musicians were exceptional, bringing richness and authenticity to the performance, and the singers added such emotional depth with their powerful and evocative voices. One particularly striking moment was a duo performance that blended tango with a dramatic, almost martial-arts-like routine - incorporating movements reminiscent of nunchaku-style choreography. It was unexpected, dynamic and completely unique, adding a thrilling edge to the traditional programme. What made the evening truly extraordinary, however, was an entirely unexpected surprise. The legendary Argentine singer Hugo Marcel made a special appearance and, to our amazement, wished us a happy honeymoon and birthday from the stage. It was such a generous and heartfelt gesture. Hearing his voice live was incredible - he is immensely talented - and in that moment my heart was racing. It was an evening filled with passion, artistry and beautiful surprises - one we will remember for the rest of our lives.
What a fabulous evening, a great 3 course dinner with wine, and across the road to watch an evening of tango and singing. Great a must do when in Buenos Aires.
