Wonderful evening! Very well organized, lovely venue. The food was much better than I expected. Met some delightful patrons. The entertainment was energetic and very talented. Highly recommend.
We opted for show and transport without dinner. So we cannot comment on the food. The show was an hour long with tango, and gaucho dance, singing, drums and orchestra. The performers were excellent. The place was crowded. The only problem is the layout of the tables made it difficult for people to see everything clearly. We were fine though. There was free bottle of wine of your choice and water. The transportation was smooth, but we had to wait a bit when being picked up. Overall a great experience.
Excellent show. Great musical and visual experience. Highly recommended. Dinner was delicious. Early option worked out well.
It was a bit hectic at the ticket office. We had the tickets bought in advance via Viator and yet we had to queue together with people who had no tickets. Finally some people who bought tickets on the spot had better seats than we did. From where we sat it was a bit difficult to see the stage. It’s a massive tourist thing, even though the performers were really good
A wonderful show that included about 8 dancers, one singer and a 4 piece band. The food was also very good.
Excellent service, from the arrival Camilo receiving with very kindness, Lysander our waiter gave us unbeatable service. The food is delicious and very well served. The wonderful musicians, the dance show, singers and boleas of the best. A highly recommended place, very complete for an unforgettable evening.
I would recommend this but not VIP option. The extra cost for VIP is not worth it. Dinner quality was good. Show was good. Also, it would be worth checking if really need the pickup option versus getting there yourself.
Was fantastic. Dinner was excellent, venue charming and show spectacular. Having an early dinner and show was helpful. And they even provided transportation! Highly recommend!
I arrived later than expected I did a package deal and the provided transportation was late so they hired an Uber for me to the show fine, stuff happens. I was seated at a decent table close enough to the stage, was left waiting about 10 to 15 mins. Then I was given some bread, no olive oil or butter, despite me seeing every other table with it. I was told to scan a qr code for menu. I asked why other tables had physical menus, I was given a menu in English which is what I wanted with my package he explained it comes with 2 glasses of wine 🍷, appetizer, entree and dessert, awesome, I requested white wine, caprese salad, parm chicken, and flan for my dessert. So I'm left waiting again 15 to 20 mins finally my salad comes, but no wine so I inform server I never got my wine which everyone else had before appetizer, so he asked which I wanted again white wine. I received my entree. I was able to finish before the show started. Then I was given my 2nd glass of wine and my dessert. So before the show even ends I have a plate placed infront of me for the tip which I really didnt want to leave as I felt neglected most of the night so I said I didn't have any cash, keep in mind the show hadn't ended and I didn't get to see it now because I'm waiting for him to bring the card reader payment. So I leave 15,000 or 10 USD I was annoyed I didn't receive good service and felt like I wasn't treated as well as the others, I felt neglected and was pressured into tipping. I regret not just saying okay and leaving. The food was good, and the show was too.
We were picked up at our hotel around 6:30 in a mid-size bus. There was a little mix-up with two drivers arriving, but it was sorted quickly and didn’t cause any problems. The short 10-minute ride was pleasant, and we even met some fellow travelers, which made the evening more fun. Upon arrival, we posed for a quick photo on stage before being seated at our table. Dinner was excellent—truly the best meal of our two-week trip. The empanadas were flavorful and could have been a meal on their own. The steak was a standout: perfectly medium, tender, and lean without being fatty. As Americans who eat plenty of steak, we were genuinely impressed. The Malbec wine paired beautifully. The show itself was outstanding. Two pairs of tango dancers performed both as duets and all four together, and being in such an intimate venue meant we could really appreciate the intricate footwork. The gaucho dancing and bolo performance were unforgettable—fast, rhythmic, and unlike anything we’ve seen except perhaps Hawaiian fire dancers. The live music from the quartet and the young vocalist added depth to the experience. We chose Aljibe because it offered an earlier showtime, which fit perfectly after a long travel day. In the end, it exceeded expectations. Between the excellent dinner, talented performers, and close-up atmosphere, this was a highlight of our time in Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.
