We weren’t able to find the group.
I thought that I had paid for going to top. Was told only 2nd floor. Will check charges when I get home. Interesting I was not the only one in group who thought that. Young lady very informative
Tour guide did not show up at the meeting place. Five other tourists, my granddaughter and I waited for 45 minutes. We learned that the Eiffel Tower had closed for the day
We had a nice tour at the Eiffel with Gaeton, who got us to the second deck and gave us a quick talk describing what we were seeing in the 4 views. The best thing was we had booked the day before but because of the labor strikes it was cancelled. The tour company was very accommodating in rescheduling for the next day, and very helpful in communicating the changes.
This was our second time on the tour, and it was even more enjoyable this time because of our guide, who made the experience more engaging. Although the tour was in English and a French couple joined our group, it didn't detract from our enjoyment. The rest of us were very interested in the history and sights of Paris from a distance.
I was hoping to skip queues by taking a guide, instead still queued, at vast expense for short tour. With a nurodiverse granddaughter keen to see the Eiffel tower i tried to book about 2 weeks before travel but no prebooked tickets available. I could walk up on arrival but discounted this as granddaughter not good at queues and I was imaging long queues at walk up, so only alternative was to book a tour at vast expense of 190 Euros for 3 of us. On arrival at meeting place at 6.15 tour guide not distinguishable from any one else, eventually we were contacted. Short introduction at 6.30 followed by a ten minute walk to the tower ticket office (where there was no queue) more information briefly, and then into a queue, another queue for the security scanner and another queue for the lift. At the 2nd floor we were pointed out landmarks E, S, N, W and at 7.30 the tour was over. As one of the other people in our group said "I don't know why I'm taking this tour" We reckon that the tour guides buy up most of the tickets in advance so if you want to be sure of going up you have to take a tour. Worst value for money I've had in a long time. the value on our printed ticket was 23,10 Euros. Bit of a scam and I don't recommend. Take your chance with a walk up ticket or book a longer ahead perhaps
Priority entry to lifts still means over an hour wait to get to lifts. No where to sit and didn’t bring a mobile chair as I was led to believe we wouldn’t have such a long wait. Not disability friendly. Mentioned when booking and to guide on the day that I’m a slow walker, told it was fine but still group walked ahead and left me way, way behind. Thankfully my son went with main group so he could guide me by phone on where to go. Once at second floor we got separated shortly after and was unable to find group to rejoin so had to do rest of tour on own without guide.
Our meeting time was set for 9:30 PM outside the tower premises, but unfortunately, we didn’t arrive on time. By 9:40 PM, we had managed to pass through security, anxiously waiting for a call back or message reply from our tour guide regarding our scheduled two-hour guided tour of the second floor. We called—no answer. We messaged—no reply. Without our tickets, which the tour guide was holding, we had no way to enter the tower. Frustrated, we ultimately decided to purchase new tickets for just 22 euros each, allowing us to access the second floor on our own. This experience made me realize that a private tour guide wasn’t necessary. In the end, I wasted 175 euros on a tour that never happened. If you're planning a visit, buy your tickets directly through the official Eiffel Tower website!
