Itinerary
Our journey begins at the Eidfjord quay, where you’ll embark on a scenic drive to the Norwegian Nature Center – Hardanger. This center celebrates the incredible beauty and uniqueness of Norwegian nature, climate, and environment through interactive exhibitions. In the cinema hall, you can join a spectacular journey through fjords and mountain landscapes with a new panoramic film.
With a stunning drop of 182 meters (597 ft), the sheer magnificence of this natural wonder is an unforgettable experience. The cascading water creates a thunderous roar that echoes throughout the valley. As you stand on the edge, taking in the view, you can feel the power of the falls reverberating through your body. The dramatic landscape of Måbødalen and the pristine Norwegian wilderness that surrounds Vøringsfossen only add to the breathtaking experience.

1. Pick up was not as straightforward as it should have been given that port is very small. The instructions were pick up was outside gate of port. No one was there. Then went next door to Tourist information where other tour companies were holding up signs. They suggested we go up to see if they were by the tour buses in parking lot. We completed this circuit 3 x from 10:10 to 10:25. Then started texting Viator. Finally Don directed us to by the red train (which was not near bus). Everyone else said they wandered around as well. Need better signage, directions, even a sign in front window of bus would help. 2. Don was our tour guide. It felt like he was reading a script as he kept referencing that he knows Bergen well. 3. The stop at waterfall was lovely and the saying just wait 5 minutes and weather will change allowed for interesting photography 4. The stop at Nature center is additional fee for visit. Some nice dioramas and an excellent movie 5. Recommendation for chocolate shop with free samples was excellent
Great views and information from Don our tour guide. Some of the walking to the best views of the waterfall could be difficult but everyone could see great
The tour included a drive to an awesome waterfall and provided enough time to explore the trails and paths. We did stop at a Nature Center but did not have enough time to tour and would have had to pay for our admission. It was not expensive - so I would have been happy to cover the cost.
Hi Debbie The waterfall is the highlight, and is stunning, and the museum, as it is small is optional, and many people prefer to just take a walk around the village.
Ani was wonderful very personable and knowledgeable. Kudos to the driver for Navigating the narrow roads. The only suggestions would be more time at the nature center. We were 3 seniors and I couldn't get the app to allow it so I ended up with 1 adult and 2 seniors. We had one person with a walker... the excursion wasn't as handicap accessible as advertised.
Many thanks! It is a lovely trip! It isn't suitable for those in wheelchairs, however we have many guests who use a stroller.
Very good day to see the falls and guide and driver were very professional and kind. Ani was our guide.
Thank you for your kind words. appreciated.
