Meeting at our comfortable riverside shop, you’ll be greeted by your guide and set up with a quick bike fitting before heading out on a relaxed culinary ride through Osaka.
We begin with an easy cruise along the river, passing Osaka Castle for a quick picture, before venturing into the city’s more characterful neighborhoods to kick off our foodie adventure.
Get off your bike for a tour of Osaka's vibrant Tsuruhashi Koreatown and discover fascinating blend of Japanese and Korean cultures, people and most importantly food!
Along the rest of our trip, you’ll visit up to three other carefully selected food stops. Our guides will chose the exact neighbourhoods and restaurants based on what’s open, fresh, and most delicious! From street snacks to local favorites, each stop highlights the variety and energy that define Osaka’s food culture. Between tastings, you’ll cycle through a mix of lively streets, hidden back alleys, and some of our favorite local neighborhoods—places most visitors never get to see.

Mayco was an excellent guide and she did a great job! Her directions while riding were very clear, and the spots where we stopped to eat were delicious! Highly recommend this excursion. FYI, I’m not a cyclist and I was able to make the ride with little effort. Mostly flat streets, except near the Osaka Castle—but still able to power through.
Great tour! We covered a lot of the city and had great food at several stops along the way. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see more of Osaka than you can by foot. The guide was very informative and fun.
I went on this tour with my husband and teenage son and all of us loved it. Matt was a great guide - he really seems to love what he does. He was very knowledgeable and adapted the tour based on our specific group. We were a small group and were able to do an even longer route. The food stops were hand chosen by Matt and were all excellent. In addition to getting good exercise, we felt like we saw a lot of Osaka, including spots we wouldn’t have come across otherwise. This was a great way to see the city and get some great food while you’re at it. Highly recommend!
Joel was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and great with my 11 year old son’s questions. We saw so much and we were able to start our trip with key knowledge. He had great restaurants to recommend as well. A highlight of our trip was when an elderly Japanese women came over to say hello to us, she was curious about our family, and we had a lovely conversation.
This was a geat experience. Lee, was a fountain of information and no question went unanswered. I loved the ease of the bike and how easy they were to use. Loved the crumbed croquette and this was a great start, good advice about the bread shops across Japan. The stop in Korean town made our day and the food was outstanding. The last stop at Ponpocotel was amazing. Thankou for letting us taste new food and drinks. I would recommend this.
I went on this tour with three friends and was a simply wonderful tour and a highlight of our trip! Our incredible and intrepid tour guide Lee made it such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Easy, open, and full of humor, he made our day fun and flexible. It was such a great way to see the city, eat some truly fantastic food (we were stuffed by the end), and find scrumptious local spots. Thank you Cycle Osaka for such a fun day!
We love bike tours and we love food tours, so this combo was fantastic for our family! Great way to see several neighborhoods in Osaka along with the castle. The food tastings were all great, and there was a ton of food. Highly recommend.
Cruising Osaka and eating We had a great food cycle tour with Lee. An American who lives already for 30 years in Japan. After we are a nice pastry in the park we did a little stroll through the Korean Market. Small dishes in a small eatery. The to a restaurant that cook the meat on charcoles on your table. Very tasty. Lee knows a lot about Osaka and is entertaining. Very good bicycles! When in Osaka go cycle with Lee!
This bike tour was perfect. The weather was good. The food was good. And even the people were good! hahaha
We appreciated the small group experience, with only one other group, it made for a pretty intimate, nice time and it was nice to get to know the other couple on the tour. Our tour guide and the food was great. We went on quite a few food tour groups while in Japan. We appreciated that we didn't leave 'uncomfortably stuffed' like some of the other groups we did. I was a bit disappointed that it was just an 'out and back' bike route, I was hoping to see more of the area on the bike. Also, the bikes weren't in the best shape. The brakes on mine needed servicing. Seemed like the rotor was bent or the pads needed replacing. The bike shook while braking.
