Dutch Winetasting - Amsterdam City Centre

I had a wonderful experience at the Dutch Wine Tasting. The selection of wines was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable. What truly made the experience stand out was our host, Michael. He was exceptional, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about wine. Michael took the time to explain each wine in a way that was both informative and easy to understand, making the tasting enjoyable for beginners and wine enthusiasts alike. His enthusiasm and attention to detail created a memorable experience. I highly recommend this wine tasting to anyone looking for a fun, educational, and well-organized event. Thank you, Michael, for an outstanding experience!

Diederik was our host this evening in the best quaint wine shop. The wine tasting room is in a hidden area and was very cool. He had so much knowledge and was truly passionate about his craft. We had a great afternoon. There was only 4 of us over all, it was very personal and relaxed. The tasting went on for a couple hours and it was a very lovely afternoon out of the snow. Wines were great, would recommend.

I had very high expectations for the Dutch Winetasting Amsterdam City Centre, but unfortunately it was a major letdown. The wines offered were mediocre — nothing stood out in flavor, and some were flat and uninspiring. The venue was cramped and uncomfortable, with too many people squeezed in. The host seemed disinterested and gave minimal background on the wines; I felt like I was on autopilot rather than being guided through a proper tasting. Given the price and the hype, this experience was far below what I anticipated. I left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this to fellow wine enthusiasts visiting Amsterdam.

A truly amazing experience from start to finish! Walking through the beautiful shop through the secret door to the wine tasting room. The wines were amazing and paired with local cheese and breads. Would go back to do it again.

We had a wonderful experience at our tasting of Dutch wines. Great atmosphere and beautiful tasting room. We had the charcuterie board and appreciated the suggested pairings with the wines. The wines were good quality, very knowledgeable about Dutch wines overall. Highly recommend.

This was such a nice hidden gem! The staff is AMAZING and so sweet and the wine is very nice. We don’t know much about wine but everything was explained very well and any questions we had were happily answered. The vibes are also super relaxed and easy going

Diederik was our guide and he was fantastic. He was juggling between us and a group of five in the room so sometimes the time between tastings was a bit slow, but honestly it was relazing and it was the last thing we had planned that day so we didn't mind. This is our introductoin into Dutch wines as we were (and still largely are) unfamiliar. But not only did we get to try and learn to understand the five wines we were tasting, but we learned more about the wine production process in the Netherlands and what regions are responsible for which wines. They use a lot of steel, which in interesting, though we also had some that was blended with more "traditional" barrel aged wine. Diederik walked us through the pairings as well, advising us what to eat with which wine, which significantly improved the experience. This was educationl, fun, tasty, and relaxing. Highly recommend.

This is really the only place you can go and try all Dutch wines. It's all they do. We tried 6 wines and had a lovely charcuterie platter. The new tasting room is in a speakeasy style room behind a hidden door, which I loved!! Our host/one of the owners knew so much about the wine and was so gracious. We had a really great time and I'm so glad I found this experience! Highly recommend.

The wine tasting session was as informative as it was enjoyable, Dietrich had an extensive knowledge of both the processes involved in growing the grapes as well as how the various types of wine were made. He offered advice for the tasting experience and answered any and all questions eagerly. Most importantly though, my wife and I were visiting as a couple and though there was a larger group there, Dietrich took the time to do each tasting separately so we felt like he has his attention and input as much as the larger group.
