Slight setback

Here you can eat a nice fish and view cute vollendam houses. The center is a bit of a tourist trap where you can really only get expensive fish and dressed up in costume. With so many tourists, there's more to be had than matters now...

Great afternoon at a great price

This was fantastic fun. We had a tour of the factory and learned how the cheese was made - and indulged in tasting lots of cheese varieties all of which were delicious particularly the smoked edam and the chevre - and how clogs are made. We then put on the traditional costumes and had photos taken in front of the windmill. A great afternoon and an absolute bargain. I highly recommend this for everyone and particularly family groups.

Learning cultural center

I went on a solo trip to this cheese farm and get to try out the outfits and got a pair of clogs with engravings! Keep in mind if you’re booking this tour it is all solo. There will be tour guides and you have to get there with a local bus where you have to buy the ticket inside the Amsterdam Centraal station. The staffs were super friendly and the overall experience was very great and I felt welcomed. Despite the fact that I was the only one there that day, I didn’t feel lonely at all. Throughout the tour you get to experience how cheese are made and clogs. Shoutout to Raymond and as well as to all the staffs there. I had a great time there!
