Banja Lake is the first stop of the tour, offering a calm and scenic introduction to the day. Travelers will enjoy panoramic views of the lake surrounded by hills and countryside, with time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a perfect short break before heading toward the more adventurous part of the experience at Holta Canyon.
The tour continues with a scenic drive through Kotorri Village, a traditional rural area near Gramsh. Travelers will pass through without stopping, enjoying views of local houses, farmland, and everyday village life, offering a glimpse into authentic Albanian countryside along the route.
At Holta Canyon, travelers will enjoy the main highlight of the tour by walking inside the canyon for more than 1 hour, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and breathtaking natural scenery. The canyon water is very cold and refreshing, while in some sections there are natural thermal water spots where the water is noticeably warmer, ideal for swimming. For this reason, it’s recommended to bring swimwear. Guests should also bring extra clothes to change before entering the water and again afterward for comfort.
After exiting the canyon, travelers will have free time for lunch, where they can enjoy local, traditional food at affordable prices, have a drink, and relax in the sun to dry off after getting wet in the canyon. This break allows time to rest, warm up, and recharge before continuing the tour.

We had an amazing time at Holt Canyon. Holt Canyon is truly impressive—it's definitely worth seeing if you're in Albania. The entire trip was exceptionally well-organized. A big thank you to our guide, Arnela—she had tons of energy, a great sense of humor, and was super professional.

Nela was a great guide, fun and thoughtful! Very chatty and joyful. Made the experiance fun. We thought there would be more hiking, which was slightly dissapointing.
We spent a wonderful day at the Holta Canyon. A special thanks goes to our guide Nela, fantastic, very kind, polite and super nice, who speaks really excellent English. Compliments also to the bus driver, who drove very well on definitely not easy roads. One small note: there was a bit of a delay for the pickup in the morning, but it was completely understandable considering the distance from Durrës and Golem, combined with traffic and the usual delays from participants.
The guide guy was really great, we even taught him some hungarian words, which he remembered perfectly 😄
The trip was very good canyon was amazing
Everything was professional and extremely well organized. The driver was a pro, and the guide (Dori) was very helpful and detail oriented. His English was perfect. The sights were breathtaking, especially inside the Canyon. I recommend going all the way through the canyon.
Amazing travel cool place and considerably cheap
Irresponsible behaviour from locals that lead to bitter experience. Hiking to the waterfall didn't happen, instead our group saw only the lake Banja on the way to the waterfall. The tour completed much earlier and no refund was given for inconvenience.I don't recommend this company.
