Dubrovnik Private Elafiti Islands Half-Day Speedboat Tour

From the main port of Gruž, it only takes about 20 min to get to the Elaphiti Archipelago, so a Half Day Tour is great for those looking for a bit of adventure and some beautiful nature close to town. Of the three main (inhabited) islands, you can easily visit one or two in a half day. Some of our guests make it to two islands in the four hour time slot, but if you want to spend time in the sea, this will probably feel rushed. Islands are ideal if you like swimming and snorkeling. Our skippers know all of the best spots. If you want to visit some of the islands’ historical villages instead, you might consider the old Monastery and Rector’s Palace on Lopud. Since this is a private tour, you get to decide on your own itinerary and you are free to change it throughout the day. Your skipper can advise you about the area and help you make the most of your time. It’s 100% flexible, and it’s 100% up to you.

Itinerary
Starting our tour from new port Gruz you will have the chance to see Dubrovnik panorama including the brigde entering the city, Copacabana and the Daxa, island of ghosts on the way to Kolocep island.
Island Kolocep is around 20-25 min sailing distance from Dubrovnik. Island is known for it's 2 villages -Gornje Celo and Donje Celo and famous for it's Blue Cave on the south side of the islands. Since the tour is private you can choose how much time we will spend here and what exact activities you wish to do. We suggest stopping at Blue Cave. We will anchor near the cave from where you can swim into the cave. Snorekling masks and go pro camera is provided on the tour. After the cave we will cruise along the beautiful cliffs.
Lopud Island is famous for its sandy beach Sunj. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy an actual summer day, swim and sunbathe. We also have cold water, beer and soft drinks on the boat for your refreshment. You can choose to stay the whole time on a boat or go ashore and explore the beach. The bonus here is that after the sandy beach, we can also head to the village of Lopud, where you can visit the Dominican and Franciscan monastery, Đorđić-Mayneri park, remarkable small churches, botanical garden and much more.

Service was easy to book and they even sent out a reminder email the day before to confirm our reservation. They were kind enough to pick us up form our hotel which was awesome. The boat ride was amazing! We had Tom and he was really nice and helped guide us on our tour based on what we wanted. Our guide Tom was exactly the kind of tour guide we would have hoped to get: super-friendly, knowledgeable, interested in the region he was showing us, and highly flexible about what to show us on a four-hour customizable tour. When we didn’t have a firm idea about what we wanted to see, he suggested a quick look at some caves on Koločep, followed by stops in the villages of Koločep and Lopud, and finally a visit to a quiet cove at Oraček, giving us a chance to swim in an uncrowded spot with perfectly clear water that looked aquamarine on the surface. (Slightly too cold for us to commit to a plunge, but a gorgeous spot to anchor and dip our toes for 20 minutes.) I’ll say another thing about Tom: he does not pilot his boat like a demon. For people like us who are not on the water every day, this was a welcome manner. A terrific way to see a bit of Dubrovnik without all the crowds inside the amazing old city.
