Itinerary
Meeting point for all our tours is right by PILE bus stop / taxi drop off point and right next to the only newsstand in this area. Super easy to find as Pile is the last stop for all city buses, taxis & Uber when heading towards the pedestrian old town. Address is Brsalje 8, there you will meet our representative holding Orange umbrella with Dubrovnik Walks sign. After group assembles our guide give a brief introduction and off we go to a 2hour adventure visiting the filming locations in the old town and on the fort of St. Lawrence!
The guide will explain where we're going to go on the tour and what can you expect from the tour, some filming locations and stories will be revealed here. This is also the location that you surely remember from seasons 2 & 3, ie. where Joffrey screams at his guards "Kill them! Kill them all!", or when Jaime returns to the city without anyone recognizing him.
Fort of St. Lawrence had a very important role in the series. Among other roles that will be revealed on the tour, it had the role of the Red Keep, the castle where the King of the Westeros resides and where the Iron Throne is. We'll spend some 30-40 minutes here. Throughout the tour, the guide will present the book of photos, so that you can compare on spot, the scenes from the series vs. the reality!
This is the location of the famous pier situated at the small port Pile Bay. Sansa Stark can be seen standing on the pier, watching the ships sail in and out of the harbor. It is an important moment for Sansa as she contemplates her surroundings and the events unfolding around her. This pier also serves as a meeting point where the Stark family members come together to discuss important matters and share their concerns. This small port also played a significant role as the Blackwater Bay.
Old town scenes will be covered here (King's Landing Streets, Red Keep, Great Sept of Baelor, Littlefinger's Brothel,...)
The infamous Walk of Shame took place here. The scene begins at the Great Sept of Baelor, where Cersei is stripped of her clothes and then forced to walk the streets of King's Landing towards the Red Keep. During her walk she is followed by Septa who is constantly yelling the word “Shame!” and ringing the bell in order to attract everyone’s attention. Unforgettable scene and one of the most famous filming locations ever!
Take a picture on the replica of the throne. This is the last stop of this tour.

Branko was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. He was extremely informative as well as engaging. He provided so much insight into the show and the film locations. His stories are also 10/10. The vibes throughout the tour were great, he made sure to answer everyone’s questions “we were in s smaller group” and allow us time to take pictures at different locations. Admission fee was extremely fair for what you get. The length of the tour wasn’t too long, being on a cruise ship we tried to get something moderate in length that would allow us to see other things after the tour.
Had an amazing tour with Alex!! She was knowledgeable and entertaining. Also responsive via chat. We enjoyed greatly!
On the tour we had Drazen as our tour guide. He was fantastic!!! Not only did he have a passion and love for game of thrones that was palpable. But he also had an extensive knowledge of the history of Dubrovnik which he also shared with us. This was my favorite walking tour i'v ever been on and that was because of Drazen.
Branko is an outstanding guide—always smiling, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. His positive energy and passion for both his city and his work are truly contagious. This tour is a fun way to discover some of the city's highlights. I highly recommend the experience.
We had Branco as our guide and he was wonderful. Funny, informative, and always made sure he had all of us even with the major crowds. Gave us history of Croatia while talking about game of thrones and we loved it!
This is for GOT fans. The heat and humidity are bearable because if you’re a fan of the show, you’d appreciate Branko and his enthusiasm for the tour. Walking the streets of Old Town, climbing a lot of steps, going with or against the crowd of cruisers is not for the faint of heart. But it’s fun to walk around and see the locations that evoke so many memories and emotions you’ve invested in your favorite characters/season/episode/show. Bring sunscreen, hat, water bottle ( refillable with very good water fountains all around), and comfortable walking shoes. I wish there were later tours available in the summer for better weather but I understand the EU has a better work-life balance so midday tour it is for the day visitor.
A brilliant tour and the best tour guide! Branko was great and he knew everything about the series. He was very funny and charismatic and made everyone feel welcome. He even had some cool stories about it meeting many of the cast members! The tour itself was informative and fun so I would recommend to any Game of Thrones fans.
Ines was an amazing tour guide. It was a really interesting tour and we enjoyed it a lot! We learned so many fun facts about the show and would definitely recommend it!
Branko was fantastic! So knowledgeable and passionate, and pretty cool that he also had met some of the cast from game of thrones!
There are steep stairs so this tour is not for those who struggle with cardio. The sites are amazing and the insider knowledge makes it special.
